If its a Small Scratch then its fine.. if it a big one then i suggest do not paint it with any color

does it have the sparkle effect? like the one we have on the black color..

you can get the same color made from machine thru any paint shop.. yes it will cost higher then the spray paint but will be cheaper then what you would be quoted in showroom...

Yes, silver dazzy has the sparkle effect like black one.

Is spray can for silver dazzler (with sparkle effect) available at Genuine Honda Parts or we have to buy it from paint shops?

No issues. It works like a charm. It feels hard initially, but it becomes really nice as put on some kms. If you feel its hard, change the settings to soft.

Both are comfortable. Dazzler's riding position is very commuterish and you feel more comfortable on it.

Both bikes are quite comfortable. Fz has got proper rear - set footpegs which gives it a sporty riding position

                  • honda dazzler my ultimate bike

i have bought honda dazzler on 24 feb 2011. i had enfield machismo, i had bajaj pulsar 180 etc. and i had done 70k kms in machismo, around 25k kms in pulsar. and i am having honda aviator from last one year and done 16k kms. it is also good for me.
especially i like the engine sound of honda dazzler. i took the bike from bangalore to my palce sullia by riding and it gave me average of 61.9 kms in speed of 50kms/hr and average speed of 45kms/hr.

even now i am getting 56kms on an average. i will post photos in coming days.

                    regards

Wow, thats breaking the company average ! Congrats on your new bike and ride safe !

One question though, as you have experience, I am planning a very long trip 5000km+ and I have two options one is to take Dazzler (on which I have done 700km without trouble at a stretch) or hire a Bullet. Which one would you recommend based on ;comfort' and 'reliability' for really long rides.
                      Peace \m/

                      • Took a test ride of Dazzler today from the Honda showroom at adchini, delhi. I liked the bike especially the ride quality, typical Honda it is, smooth n comfortable. Though the engine has a pulse sensation to it but it didn't feel like vibration. Overall it was good.

I think its a bike which is not going to impress you instantly with a short ride. You have to spend some time with it, like atleast 10 mins or so. This bike packs a few surprises due to its commuterish riding stance, you wouldn't feel that it can corner but it actually corners extremely well while maintaining stability. The showroom guy sat behind me and it still felt powerful enough in its class. The comfort is really good. Nice bike

@iwonder: I would recommend you to take the Dazzler even though I do not own one, instead, I own a bullet Electra Still, I am pretty sure that Dazzler would be a much better choice in any circumstance for a long ride over the bullet. You seem to own a Dazzler so you would be aware of its awesome comfort and ride quality. And contrary to the popular belief, Bullets are really not that comfortable. Believe me, I own one for almost 5 years now! I wouldn't say bullets are unreliable ('cause there are people who have taken it to extreme locations like Leh), but I would say its unpredictable. It might give troubles like broken clutch wire/throttle cable which can eventually become quite troublesome if you do not carry spare cables or do not know how to fix them yourself (most people don't). Even a puncture on a bullet will be a big trouble if there's no mechanic nearby. Not scaring you, but these are real troubles that bullet is likely to have during a long ride. Take the Dazzler

                        • its been 21 days since i got my dazzler and it crossed 750 on odo and due for the first service...
here is the pros and cons observed by me...
                          pros:
                          1)i got a mileage of 50km/lr
2)Engine is so smooth and experienced no problems and no vibrations in higher gears from 3k to 4k rpm.
3)self start is awesome: it could start the engine in one short press without any trouble
4)ride comfort and handling is very good.
5)its braking is very much responsive and the tyres are good
                          cons:
1)whenever i apply rear brake, it makes a noise any idea how to solve this problem?
                          2) whenever i leave the throttle and slow down, i get a sound from backside and my friend said as it is coming from the open chain case and its normal...is he rite?
3)almost everyday am getting cold start problem in the morning and when i use choke, it gives no problem
but is this coldstart a temporary thing since the engine is new or will i need to use choke everyday even after the engine becomes old?
other than the first two problems, my bike never put me down in any issue its really a great bike to have
guys please help me in solving those two probs
since its due for first service, will those two probs get solved after first sevvice?

                          • hii,

I have HH Hunk (new version). nearly same configuration except looks.

                            1) Regarding brake: due to dust getting in sound comes. in 1st service ask them to clean the pads.

                            2) Regarding choke: It is recommended to use choke at every cold start because it doesn't have kicker. so why take a chance with the battery. Even the batteries are of 4 Amps(if i'm not wrong)

                            rest i think is OK
Don't research too much while purchasing, else you will commit blunder

For (3) - The cold start issue, it helps if you start the bike @ least once everyday. I use the bike for daily commutes and at least during summer, I never have to use the choke (ever).
In fact I've noticed that in summer, my bike dosen't start if I choke it.

In winter, yes, I used the choke every morning.

                              (2) - Thats normal if the noise is the usual chain clutter, if it is anything else, you might need to get the service people to look at it.

                              (1) - Brake Noise - As mentioned, its due to dust particles on the discs/pads. It will go away when they clean the discs at each service, but the noise will return, I dont think it can be avoided.
