TPS malfunctioning is a rare case and there is no chances of TPS failure in a new vehicle since company will does Quality Control (QC Passed) pass on each and every electronic component before fitting it to the vehicle .This problem might be happening because of clogged fuel lines, Try changing the fuel filling station...

thanks but I have already tried that, I have 4 fuel stations around my place, tried them all. Even if the fuel line are clogged then why will the problem persist in reserve only, it should occur on mains too.
Is there any chance that it might have got damage due to water?

No TPS is there to sense the throttle opening & feed its position info. to cdi to advance the ignition timing as per throttle position. fuel is metered by the carb only.

        • Hi everyone !

I have a black Dazzy. I had a question in mind. Everything with this bike is awesome, right from looks, engine response, milleage, comfort and a brilliant commuter position.

Only thing which is unsatisfactory is the headlight. I know some of you guys must have tried different experiments with HID and bulbs. I want to know which is the best solution to this problem. Please mention the process and the price you guys have spent to achieve that. One more thing, Let's talk about stickering. I want to spend more money on this baby to make it look more sexier. I know with right color combinations it can look awesome.

Guys ,this is one of the slowest moving ownership thread on xbhp. Let's make an effort to share a lot regarding our Baby.

I know she deserves it !

no sir,its not tps problem.the prblm is that now a days new bikes engines are made in such a way that when it goes to reserve it tries its best to use as low amount of fuel it can consume so that the ngine doesnot get bad due unavailablity of petrol. So automatically it tries to go to economy mode so that owner can reach nearest fuel station..Its ok..not serious as you can ride freely when more fuel is there.Dont worry, just dont put it in diet..

            • CB Unicorn Vs Dazzler

hello folks, one question to all dazzler owner...
Do you guys feel that dazzler is more powerful than unicorn only on papers ???
did anyone try racing with a unicorn and feel that unicorn has better response and is faster than dazzler (not referring to the top speed here) ..
dunno but I keep feeling that unicorn is more powerful, has a better responsive and relaxed engine than dazzler...

I too thought that might be the case, knowing how smart honda people are.
But it has started to die as soon as it hit the reserve. On idle everything is fine, just as I put it into the 1st gear and release the throttle. grrrrrrrrrrr and its off.
So I have to pull the choke and ride it. But that again is a problem because when I get it refuelled, it gets over fueled, then again I hv to pull the choke and get the reserve fuel out with constant ripping for 3-6 mins. I dont mind doing that but I fear it might not damage my engine coz its run hardly 4k kms.

Relaxed, yes but I found Dazzlers lighter and much more nimble at corners. I do feel the gears are much more smoother on Unicorn. But as for performance, I really haven't felt much difference. But I do know that Dazzler can cruise on slightly higher speeds. As for pick up, although I do think it would be faster than unicorn but it would be negligible, say, under 1 sec difference.
                  Peace \m/

                    1. Relaxed - clarified.
                    2. Dazzler lighter and nimble at corners - agreed.
                    3. But I feel dazzler can't cruise at higher speeds than unicorn... What I mean here is the stress and noise of the engine is higher in dazzler than in unicorn... Or may be its just my perception, don't know but just thought of clarifying...
The reason for my above mentioned understanding is that when I ride next to a unicorn, I try to hear and judge the engine sound and compare it with dazzler.. But its quite possible that since I am riding dazzler with my helmet (the noise of my bike is more than any other bike on the road) but if I be in the observer's position, dazzler's engine might sound as similar as Unicorn..

Next time, when you ride next to a unicorn (new one), try to listen to the sound of the engine of the unicorn and compare it with the engine sound of your bike, you might exactly understand what I am referring to here and please post your observation as I am very keen to know the same...

I understand. I have a week old unicorn with my friend, as said Unicorn is much more quite at idle speed and while running compared to Dazzler.
Also, the same is with the higher speeds. The unicorn does feel quieter than Dazzler at those speeds but I believe that would be a 'very' minor difference.
I got 124kmph on the Dazzler's speedo on a day with very little headwind, and I have only achieved 115kmph on a 2 year old Unicorn with the similar environment and time. I would love to check the speed of my friend's new Unicorn, but he won't let me do that until the run in period is over

Also, One of the reason for the noise in Dazzler is the open chain.
                      Peace \m/

                        True ...
124 is an awesome top end ... I have touched my bike only till 110 so far, but there was definately more left... Will try sometime soon...

Ya, i have tried racing my dazzler with the unicorn & dazzler turned out to be faster than unicorn. Dazzler is definitely more powerful than the unicorn (both on road & on paper).& this difference between them gets on increasing as speed increases! Remember Dazzler is having high lift cams which gives it more power than the unicorn!
