you have to wait for your first service ride it for a while u will get a good efficiency maintain your speed in the 5th gear. as the dealer here in my city i was given a bike to ride for a day by honda themselves and I took out 54 average in city riding only. So wait u will get but remember to maintain your speed at 5th gear not to exceed more than 40 km - 45 km.@ 3000 rpm

Its a so called upgrade but it is surely a new segment bike in 150cc.....if not then why are they still selling the old uni with a high waiting period...........

              Hi,
Unfortunately the Honda service is not very good and neither is the inventory of spare parts. I know now from my colleagues Dazzler CB owners that they have the same FE (34 kms / ltr approx.). Apparently if it is a pervasive theme in Colombia. FE is very low compared with the Unicorn, of at least 9 km / lt. It's too weird to be basicly the same bike. The FE in India is the same for both bikes, right?

I do NOT own a Dazzler but I'm very sure that if run in properly and ridden sanely, it can return a FE of anywhere between 45-50 if not more.

The Dazzler's engine is a real gem and the bike is very reliable. It's a great bike for sure which is also fun to ride with excellent braking capabilities and good stability.
Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

                    • So my 16,500KM is done.

I generally do the usual servicing myself, like

                      - Adjusting the chain
                      - Changing Oil (Motul Semi-Synth). The Honda guys charge 20/- extra on Oil as taxes if they change it. So I save that and the petrol for the trip to the SVC.
                      - Lubricating it (Motul Chain Spray).
                      - Washing.
                      - Tightening of screws, Switches (WD 40)
                      - Changed the Air Filter at 15000KM.

What I am trying to say is, you will be amazed how simple these tasks are and how much you can save doing it yourself. Of course you need to go to the SVC for heavier tasks but those do not come under the "usual" servicing of your vehicle anyway.

As per my report on my Dazzler, I get about 38-48 KMPL mileage. But on its defense, I do ride it pretty hard, I live in a hilly town with lots of twists and the vehicle is usually run at higher RPM and higher speeds on plains (80-105kmph).

The problems I have faced so far,

                      1. Slightly higher Vibration at 2k rpm and 4.5k rpm.
                      - Not fixed yet, SVC said its common :| , But its something I can live with.

                      2. The right side cowl & plastic above the headlight was making sound at the above RPMs
                      - Fixed it by placing a piece of rubber from tyre tube lying around inside those.

                      3. My tyre had worn out but I could not find the 110/80 17" MRF anywhere
                      - Different dealers gave different reasons, like the company is not providing it commercially (Coimbatore MRF) and the company would not give it out anytime soon (Mannarkkad MRF).
                      - I got the MRF 100/90 17" Moto-D. No negetive differences from the old tyre yet but the grip is good and cornering was not affected much.
                      Peace \m/

                      • Hi Iwonder,
My sincere congratulations ! Is good to know that your machine is doing well. In my case it is also a sweet, except the mentioned FE.
I used to do maintenance to mi bike and I am thinking about to give up the warranty. This warranty is extended by 2 years due to the purchase in part with funding but I do not know if is possible to resign to it. They charging me monthly by the extended warranty in the payment but they do not mention that. Pay for the simple review that SVC do ..mmmmm???
Never before today I had to claim for some parts during the warranty for the bikes that i owned and I know that Honda distribuitors are stingy with the parts replaced for warranty

                        Saludos!

                              • Hello Everyone,

Completed 12000 km in 11 months on my Dazzler.
Change the front brake pads.I didn't expect them to wear out so soon, but still..The rear brakes are damn costly...Costs 750 bucks.Front ones cost 350...
Average is a matter of concern.. I doubt I am getting anything more than 35, max 40...Will be checking the mileage soon...
Yesterday topped the bike at 111 km/hr. I reckon, I must be doing 8k rpm or max 8.5... So I feel the bike still has more juice left before it runs out.
Whats the top speed people have achieved so far ?
