  • Battery upgrade

    @Aneesh@4GHz
Hi Aneesh I want to upgrade my Dazzler's Battery(I think its not enough specially if u opt for HIDs/Projectors and stuff), seen your mod. Do u recommend it? How was ur experience with the whole Amaron mod?

    • My Current List of Mods:
      • K&N R1100
      • Upjetted Main Jet
      • Changed Pin Height, as its a CV carb
      • NGK Ix Spark Plugs
      • Set Suspenssion on Hard, For Better Cornering
      • And my latest Mod, changed from a 42 teeth Rear Sprocket to a 46 teeth. So current setting is 15 front 46 rear. The Bikes Accelration is hell fast. (there is some compromise on top speed..hv to check exact)

Next.: Customized Free Flow Exhaust (if budget permits)
or a ABS for rear Discs, Zero Resistance Spark Plug Cables, Induction Coil.

Guess now you have 4Ah MF battery,May be you can upgrade it to 5Ah,I think that will be the maximum because there is limitation for battery size.So check your battery cage dimensions and search for a good battery that will fix in it.The main difference i noticed in my bike is,my old battery used to drain completely after 6-8 cracks continuously,Now no such problem, and i am using Roots Dual Windtones,No problems till now.

        • i have clocked 3000 km i did not change the oil since 2700 km after the last service. i use to use indian oil normal fuel

i had a old unicorn before this and also a fzs now i have a dazzler
so i decided to experiment with different fuel like i did on my old unicorn

wat i observed was that Hp normal fuel same amount (100rs) on a empty tank lasted more than indian oil also the engine dint make much noise and pickup was better (may vary from pump to pump)

tried Bharat petrolium the worst ive ever used

but indian oil xtra premium fuel was better than hps premium fuel

felt very close to my old unicorn with Hp

i am gona experiment with Power 1 now lets see how it does has any one tried it before , oil change in fz improved a lot of things for me

I had used it in my karizma, The main problem of these in karizma is,they will hit the fairings while turning ,made scratches on my fairings, left and right, and deep scratches on speedo meter, these wont be a issue in dazzler as there is no fairings, but the accelerator cables, clutch cables will suffer and will get damaged soon.my switch assmbly damaged with just one fall,I am talking from my experience,I bought these for 750,and the main damage caused to my bike was a small dent on my fuel tank ,once, bike felled to right side, the handle hit the tank and a small dent was formed,At that time,i decided to change to stock handle. After waiting for months for spares to arrive and finally one day i got it fixed and all those items costed me nearly2500-3000rs. the Cost of Putting Hayabusa handles.

and these are the things i had to buy to took it back to stock condition.

              And finally Done.

So i wont recommend this to anyone,So the choice is yours.

              • BIke Starting issue

May be its the rainy season..

I am having probs starting the bike at times..The engine wont start to ignite..

What I wanted to know is whether the battery or the spark plug or is it normal?

                Comment

                • If you are not aware of these, just make a note to follow these steps. Never try to ignite continuously. If the bike does not start in two attempts, just switch off the ignition for few seconds and start again. When you start, just open the throttle little and then try to start it. At cool temperatures, use choke to start the bike. If you still have starting problems take the bike to HSS and check the battery and charge if necessary. Also, check for any issues with spark plug.

Wow... That's Pretty fast bro. Yes,I forgot to mention that, many had difficulties on riding with that handle, main prob was the back pain after ride,But i didn't have that problem.Any way, always stick to stock handles and do no mods to handles it will affect your bike adversely and Very happy to know that you had taken my advice. Me too only 18 .

                            • HID bulbs???

                              Hi all fellow dazzlers,

I am looking for a decent HID for my dazzie which is economical and at the same time won't break the law.

Can someone give the details of the HID that they have mounted on the bike and the price range?

                              Pros and Cons also..
