Are you talking about temporary registration number? Its legal in Andhra Pradesh for a month. If you do not register in a month, they will write a chalan, but rare conditions. I see many vehicles with T/R for months and months.Originally posted by chris_terror View PostI still have the same question ....please answer someone and yes one more to that is it legal to ride with a TC number?

What made you to sell your FZ and buy Dazzler? It was the biggest mistake you made. The bike is not as bad as you quoted. There might be something wrong with your bike, take to service station and rectify.Originally posted by fusioncoast View Postfirst mistake i did was selling my old unicorn then i made a mistake of selling my fzs n bought this crap
pathetic bike
just clocked 3700 kms
looks like 100 cc bike
feels like a normal bike fzs is better in terms of vibrations
sad looking tires they are so thin
low fuel efficiency
pickup sucks was better in my old unicorn
cold starts
rear discs r waste without ABS
poor battery and headlight visibilityHH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

Hello Everybody!
I'm a new, happy and proud owner of a Honda Unicorn Dazzler
Not owner actually, a 'friend' as in a 'best friend'. I've named him as "PathFinder" and will call him so hereafter.
I brought "Pathfinder" home on May 5th, 2011.
So our friendship is about 2 months old exactly, but 5 days later i got my 12th report and i had flunked in 3 subjects so i couldn't spare time to write about him for i had to get busy in preparing for the re-exams. I was even a regular to xBhp before that expected tragedy ^_^ (Ravi@17bhp might remember very well)
He is quite a head turner, everybody asks me details about him and most of them were strangers on road. Many times it happened, motorists riding behind screamed "Anmol, What's the price?, What's the Mileage, What's the waiting period?" and i answered (while i asked myself, how the hell does he know my name, then i realised, it's written on the blank number plate lol).
I had a premature First service on June 30th (well premature cos, i hadn't cloaked 500-750km on the odo yet thanks to my re-exams and Honda gives priority to date not to the odo, it was only exactly 400km)
Before the 1st service Pathfinder had given variable mileages of 45, 53, 55, 61, 40 Kmp/ls respectively. When i rode him at 3500-4500rpm i got the best results, below 3000rpm i got low efficiency between 40-50 as i mentioned.
In the initial days, i was very addicted to it's cornering, I used to bank MotoGP style whenever i found a corner - I just couldn't control. But then it wasn't too long before I had to learn my lesson, so now after that lesson, I'm much more cautious.Last edited by The_Lone_Rider; 07-04-2011, 01:06 PM.Four wheels move a BODY,

Aviator in demand??? Thats absolutely false. The waiting period is because they manufacture very few Aviators. Its like honda dedicates 15 days of the month manufacturing Activa at this only plant in gurgoan, and the remaining 15 days of the month for all its other models. Among the remaining 15 days, maybe unicorn and dazzler get 6 days, shine and twister are dedicated 7 days, and i think they they dedicate just 2 days of the month to manufacture flops such as Aviator and Stunner. Thats how it works in a factory.Originally posted by surendar krp View Postaviator too is kept under demand i guess...cos my friend booked aviator for his uncle last month and the stock is not available...the guy at the showroom said as for upto december month bookings , the bike has got delivered.
but dazzler and twister are very freely available with very minimum waiting period...
Honda is very good in marketing. Instead of saying the truth that they manufacture very less Aviator, they would say a false story that aviator has good demand and hence has a high waiting period.Last edited by antonysg; 07-05-2011, 05:29 PM.

If there was dust in your brake pads, the pad will touch the disk at all wheel positions. But since it is touching at one particular position, it means either your disk or wheel has a minor bend.Originally posted by Varun Raghunathan View PostRavi,
The SC guys told they cleaned the disc ... Even after first service i am getting the same amt... My worries are that the back Disc rotor is getting hotter than the front one (though i use brakes very occassionally and mostly both brakes at same time).
Also, this will affect my mileage directly, isnt it ??

i heard that increasing the teeth of the sprockets from 42stock to 48 will increase the pickup of ma bike at the loss of top speed without affecting the avg or the chains life.............is the a fact?????????????sigpic
