I want to ask you some questions please. Maybe you can help me with your experience:
I am from other country where we have this bike and In the past I owned a Honda Unicorn that reached to me figures of 150-160 km / gallon (39-42 km / liter) at a rate of 1 gallon = 3.8 liters, This is the normal fuel consumption in our country.
But in the Dazzler only get me to 135 km / gal, ie 35 km / lt which worries me, because I stated that in the first technical review for garantee and they told me that it had been corrected.
I checked the number of turns in the golden screw on the carburetor and has 2 turns and almost 1 / 4 more.
I do not know if it's OK because when I cut back to 2 turns the engine was turned off for lack of gasoline.
I'm worried because believed that consumption in the Dazzler will be better than the Unicorn
Thanks a lot for your answer!

        • Hi to all u dazzlers,

I've just given my dazzle for the 3rd service. The guy at the service centre (PRATIK HONA, VASHI) is insisting on a carbon wash which needs to be done to the engine. It seems a mandatory service after you cross 5k and charging me Rs.400/- for the same . Can any of u guys enlighten me on this.....

Mandatory? Please complain to Honda by mailing them or calling them. These buggers are taking the customers for a ride for some quick bucks.

What is this carbon wash ? Complain this to HMSI directly, most HMSI dealers are rouges, they have book full of orders and are not cultured to be 'customer centric'. I also heard quick delivery of bikes for extra bucks, ripping customers by selling accesssories at very high price etc etc.

Utter non sense. They will just flush your engine with diesel or something n refill engine oil. Say a strict NO to that, thats just another way of looting customers by service centers. Ask them to show it in manual. And de carbonizing on a 4 strokes will not really be needed until you clock around 40000-50000kms.

Things needs to be done in free service will generally be written behind the Free Service Coupon, have a look.

Don't know about Uni but i take rounds my neighbour's Xtreme every now and then

UniDaz is better in comfort (Feels like heaven! It's quite heavy but it feels lighter than the lightest bike, i test rode Stunner and UniDaz day before yesterday, Stunner felt heavier and more tight, UniDaz felt like heaven),

Looks (Mine is a Armor gold color, it's quite a head turner looks straight from a Hollywood Military Action blockbuster, it also looks bigger than extreme, equally tall, infact it's as tall as Stunner, although it doesn't seem coz of tire width)

                                Performance

Handling & Road-Grip (This is the best thing about it, Everytime you bank, it doesn't shake at all, heck it doesn't even seem like you've banked, you feel like banking more and you can stand on it's footpegs while it's still without the stand and balance for hours)

And equally best is it's breaking, extremely comfortable and precise (it feels scary to know it has a rear disc, but trust be i swear it increases safety so much, i call it "Precision Breaking", It's not weak not even dangerously quick, it's perfect)

Suspension (I'll tell you this is another equally best thing because of which the banking is possible, it doesn't let you experience even hard potholes/inconvieniences/stones on road, it makes you feel like you're flying/hovering over the surface)

All this from a 5 hours & 20kms old First Day Owner or should i say First Night Owner, coz i got it in the dusk.
