        Bumper & Saree guard:
Last Friday I went to GP Road(General Patters road) in Chennai, for buying accessories for my friend's Dazzler. In GP road they have Bumper, Saree guard & etc... I asked about the prices in a shop. The shop member said Bumper + Saree guard = Rs.600/- & Rs.30 for fitting. Yes this is very cheap according to our Honda dealers. But after seeing that parts with out cover I stunned & understand that less money = less quality, good money = good quality . That parts are not worth for Rs.400/-(Bumper + Saree guard).
So please avoid those parts and use the dealers products. Thats very good.

        Seat cover:
Mean while the Seat cover story goes reverse. In Honda dealer showroom they are pricing very high than the covers quality. Actually they selling Seat cover(Single(Black) color) for Rs.225/- but thats only Rs.120/- in GP Road.
So please avoid buying Seat covers(Single(Black) color) from Honda dealers. In GP Road the Seat cover(Single(Black) color) prices goes like:
        • Ordinary cover - Rs.120/-
        • Dazzler Original material(they said original) - Rs.160/-
        • FZ-S Original material(they said original) - Rs.200/-

Last week my friend put the FZ-S material for his Dazzler, It looks great .
        err...Shop name ?

          • As per Indian RTO guidelines, Saree guard is compulsory on all bikes. Then, why does a few manufacturers like Honda are selling them as accessories. These things like crash guard, saree guard are ought to be the part of the bike itself? Is'nt it? I even heard that number plate is too in accessories list for a Honda vehicle. Why it is so? I got the engine guard, saree guard, crash guard as freebies with my Pulsar 180.

Bang on......de (Honda) should be brought to court fr nt following the RTA guidelines.......de r more inclined towards extracting money nehw......i gt to knw abt it wen i bought it....n was very disappointed with their attitude towards people.....as d name goes HONDA outside india de r upto their reputation in each and every aspect where as in india de r nowhere near it.....

n moreover there is no mud guard fr d rear tyre where as every other bike in india has one........disappointing at sum point but satisfactory on d whole......

Dazzle, Honda has been doing this ever since they entered India. You cannot drag Honda to court, as Honda is supplying the sareeguard and crash guard along with the bike, but as separate accessories that you have to pay extra. Every customer will be angry on this, but Honda will continue to do that, because that's Honda.

Buy OKS chain spray from Ranigunj, it is one of the best for o-ring sealed chain. 340 bucks. Wash the chain every week, depending on the dirt and apply it. To remove the dirt from chain, you can use OKS degreaser. Spray the degreaser before water wash. All the dirt will be washed away when they put jet of water the chain. This is the best way to keep the chain clean. I have been using the degreaser and chain spray with superb results.
