      • chain lub/spray

after a lots of discussion with friends, i rounded up on Motul chain lube and spray for my dazzler. Could anyone suggest where could I get them for a competitive price in and around BTM/Koramangla/Jayanagar/JP Nagar - Bangalore.

        thnx!

        • Hey guys!
I am looking forward to buy a 150cc.

I have narrowed down to the Dazzler and the Suzuki GS150R (after months of research).
I need to do a few long rides every now and then........

So I wanted to ask you..... how comfortable is the Dazzler on long stints?
          And are there any vibes?

Long rides? GS150 is better than Dazzler, with its 6th cog and comfortable riding position.

            • I heard the ride is not as comfy in the case of the Dazzler, just wanted to make sure.
Anyway, my bike is mainly for commuting with a tour or two in a year.

              How's the case with vibes?

I read somewhere that the dazzler seems to be out of breath after 75kmph. true?

              • my dazzler easily does about 95 i cant go beyond that in the roads of kochi. By the way who told dazzler goes out of breath at 75kmph.I think it can easily go beyond 105

                  • An update on my >4k handlebar vibs issue:

Took it down to Yash Honda @ hadapsar and the mech. took it for a test ride. This is the same guy who fixed my console vibrations, very sincere guy.

He said it wasn't very prominent, but still decided to check the engine mounting bolts. He ended up tightening 2/5 bolts, as a result of which the vibrations have reduced quite a lot. He said he can't tighten them further else they will crack.

I do still get some however, around 4k +, mainly through the handlebars. I've done about 1k kilometers so far. Anyone else experiencing this issue ?

                    • I am having the console vibration problem or a month. How did you manage to omit them? Any specific procedure?

Yep, the service center fixed it up for me. I think he added some padding inside to prevent the unit from vibrating. As someone pointed out, the consoles are assembled by the service center guys after the bikes arrive from honda. You can take your bike to a couple of local service centers and explain the problem to them. In my case, the mech. took it for a test ride himself and he admitted that the console was indeed vibrating. That made it easier for him to address the issue.

Do you feel slight vibs in your handlebars after 4k rpm ?

                        • Advise on Dazzler

After months of test rides and online HWs, I decided to go for the Dazzler. My requirements are a daily commuter bike with a good suspension (since I have a bad back) and decent performance. Bikes with mono shocks were either the unicorns or FZ. Since FZ has a leaning fwd posture, I went for the Unicorns and the dazzler is much easier to handle compared to the classic model. So, chose to go for the dazzler. Honestly, this forum has played a vital role in making me choose the Dazzler. I am planning to book the vehicle early next week. I think I'll go for a Black or Grey. I have a couple of questions

                          General:
                          1) Any comments on the suspension..? Dos or donts with it - please let me know. I couldnt find any comparative study on why a mono shock is better than the regular bi-shocks. The only reason I find is the position of the shock under the driver (isolates the shocks). Again, did not get a chance to ride a dazzler for a longer time or distance (>0.5 kms). So cant make a real comment on the suspension quality.

                          Chennai people:
                          2) JSP (Anna Nagar) promises to deliver <1 month but their accessories seems little expensive than the KUN (Ashok Nagar, Adyar). But KUN waiting period is ~2 months. Also, JSP wont provide engine guard cos they claim that it hits the speed bumps. Is that true..? Can I purchase the vehicle at one Dealer and fit only a few accessories at the other dealer..?
                          3) On the whole, based on your experiences, is there a best choice of dealer? in chennai.

                          Looking fwd for your replies.

                          • i have good feeling in riding this bike.this is really awesome.but unfortunately my bike as an accident by friend who wants to buy new bikes so he asked me for testing.
so this is my suggestion please don't give your bike to any one.suppose if you give it to any one please you sit at back .

one important suggestion .please buy safety bumper . really its saves my bike from scratches when any incident occurs .

                            Have a Happy riding.

I've read in Bike India that it is uncomfortable for long rides. Is that true?
