i read it somewhere that it is good to open the throttle a bit when its new just to set up the engine a bit but not on a regular basis....and more so yopu can do that when the engine is warm, never do that when the engine has just started......

i've pushed my dazzler to 95 km/hr just once it was very smooth and i didn't felt any vibration..... so not much to worry about for you......

    enjoy the ride........
Yep spot on, I usually dont take it above 3.5k when its cold. In fact, I try to warm it up on mild idling alone for at least 1 minute, every morning before I start riding it.

I think I will take it easy for the next 300 kms or so then gradually make it accustomed to higher and higher rpms.

Well, thanks for sharing, relieved to know its quite normal

Yeah mate, I got around 56 from my last tank but this time it wont be as good (mainly due to the fact that I have driven it harder), but overall I'm very happy with the F.E figures.

I use regular B.P petrol from a bunk on F.C road (Pune). From my experience & a friend's recommendation, their quantity and quality are both great and also the people who work at the gas station are not manner-less tobacco chewing morons.

They always use the electronic setting on the meter before pumping & never rely on their own reflexes.. so they seldom overflow (something which has lead me into numerous arguments in the past).

Oh yes, any dazzlerians from Pune, avoid filling at the H.P near Chandni Chowk (Shinde Petroleum), unless you are masochistic & love getting ripped of that is ;-)

            • Did another trip today around 270 kms, 60% of the time rode between 80-90 kmph, 20% percent offroading, and 10% city riding. Gave me approximate F.E. of 45 kmpl.

My Dazzler racing towards 5k kms mark. Now, just crossed 4k.

Mate, did you initially experience any vibrations and roughness above 4.5k (see my post above) ?

                • There are still minor vibrations at 5k rpm, and this engine is not as refined and smooth as Unicorn's. There are slight footpeg vibrations at 6k rpm. But, these are all negligible. Lets see if these smoothen out as you put more kms on odo.

But, vibrations are more in the initial periods and I am sure they will subside to minimal as you ride on. Do not worry much about that.

hey Vikram...thats a very long time to wait for....and if you are willing to wait for dazzler that long than i would suggest you not to go for golden color....though its unique color to own but it looses its shine very soon......

i've red color dazzler and its almost three months old....after going through rigorous rain here in Hyderabad it looks good and shiny......but personally i feel black and silver color dazzler looks better than the rest of it.....i had to buy red coz thats my dad's favorite color.....

Neways it's you who is gonna drive that so its your liking for the color.....

                      • Second service done...

Hi guys, last week my dazzler's second service was finished. I have added Teflon Coating for my dazzler. Ya I think its nice. It costs Rs: 350/-

And before the second service I got 52 kmpl mileage(75% city & 25% highway) at the average speed of 65. I'm very happy about that . And no more issues now. So I "Live a lifetime in every moment" .

I'd second that, my wife was suggesting golden or red too but I know golden starts to look old very soon.

Red is also a good colour but I always thought silver looked best on the DAzzler.

Good to know that dude. What i feel is mostly footpeg vibrations above 5k.

I'm gonna keep it around 5k for the next few hundred kms then will raise it to 6k occassionally. Hope it gets used to the revvs that way.

                              Hi vikramrameshbabu,
Congrats, U had made a right choice at last. Welcome to the Dazzler's family. You will "Live a lifetime in every moment" .

I own a Silver Dazzler, and my friend owns a Black one. My suggestion is these two colors are far better than their Gold and Red counterparts.

And, in which dealer have you booked?
