  • Pyrotechnics, If the clicking noise is when you apply brakes or when you fall in potholes, the fork might be loose. Tighten it and everything will be fine.

I've never actually noticed it while riding (even on quiet roads), the only 2-3 times I've heard it when I was wheeling my bike out of a parking spot. Just this morning I tried to reproduce it but its very intermittent, seems like it happens when i turn the handle, but again not always..

      • Hi everyone.... What is the air pressure maintained in Dazzler??
Manual shows that 1.75 front and 2 in the rear... but I noticed different units in Indian Oil Petrol bunk... it is like 0.18 or .22 etc... last by default the guys filled around .33 in the rear and 0.28 in the front and because of this I got meager 27 kmpl.... Can you guys tell me what is the pressure u are maintaining esp who are getting above 50 mileage...
Because I never got more than 42 even after 2000 Kms

        • Without pillion = 25 psi in the front and 29 psi at the rear

                Pratul Honda at Somajiguda.

They are cool tyre pressures. I check the tyre pressure every week and fill 25 at front and 32 at back.

For good mileage, shift gears at 4.5k rpm with linear acceleration (avoid rapid acceleration). Try avoiding very congested traffic. Use clutch only when changing the gears. Careful not to ride with half-clutch and careful if you are resting your foot on the rear brake by accident. Fill petrol from a trusted fuel station, where they fill exact quantity. Try changing your regular petrol pump and try a new one which is a trusted one.

It is a great idea to have own pressure guage. You would get a decent one for 200 bucks. I fill air only at one fuel station every week. This way, there will not be any varied pressures.

Use only normal petrol. Use IOC in Hi-Tech city. Also, you can try IBP near Honda showroom.

Also, are you having any issues with your bike?

Does everyone here use Premium fuel ? Weird, I got my 55.7 from normal petrol...

Only issue is I got my tail lamp damaged because of my stupid frnd riding with helmet hinged to grab rail.... and showroom does not have any spares.

previously I used to get some sound from the mono shock however it is gone now and I feel the suspension is a bit stiff ,I haven't checked mono shock setting though

Spares is a big issue now, as Honda has not yet sent a single spare for Dazzler as of now. I recently fell and am waiting headlight cowls. The works manager at JSP Honda assured me to get the spares soon. Lets see how my luck is.

The Dazzler's monoshock has three levels of adjustment. Soft, medium, and hard. Generally the bike comes with medium setup. I adjusted the set-up to soft on my bike and I am feeling good now. The suspension works really amazing on potholed roads at speeds. The hard setting will help in handling.

You have to change it outside of service station. This way you would end up spending double on the engine oil. If you do not change engine oil at regular service, warranty will be void.

Even if you are ready to change the twice, mixing of different brand oils frequently is not at all advisable. In this case, better stick to regular honda oil. Oil supplied by Honda is not that bad.
True mate, if I do not change the oil at regular intervals or from them, warranty will be void.

I was just wanting to know if anyone has tried any other oil or still stuck with Honda oil and as to how does the honda oil feel ???
I think I ll stick to it, just that I expected a little more out of the oil

What is the advisable setting for the rear monoshock ?
I mean if I mostly ride alone, what is better ? Soft or hard ?
If I have a pillion most of the times, then what is better ?

For single, soft setting will be comfortable. If the roads are good, medium is the best, which gives the best combination of handling and ride quality.

For two, medium is the best. But, if the roads are bad, if your pillion wants good ride quality, set it to soft. But, the problem is sometimes, with pillion, the center stand will touch the speedbrakers.

As of now, I have been riding with soft setting, as I ride the bike alone for most of the time.

Though initially the monoshock feels hard, it will become softer as the time goes. After 3000kms mine has not been as hard as before. I am enjoying the great quality of the monoshock. It simply glides on continuous potholes.
