Guys at honda says it'll take about 10 days more for the dazzler parts to arrive. and when i confronted them that why did they sell the vehicle in the first place when they had no parts available, they told me in a cool tone, it's ur mistake, u shud've bought the vehicle 6 months after its launch!! I am SHOCKED!!!!!!!!!!The wind in your helmet, the smile on your face.
Man and machine in perfect harmony.

which would mean that the beam of the headlight would always be bright and not dependent on the throttle? that should be nice right
i checked with the svc guys today and they suggested me to go for it. they said the electrical parts wont go bad for atleast 2 years, so i should not be worrying about the warranty

Yes when the bike is on AC supply the Headlights will be fully dependent on the throttle,But if you get it converted to DC supply then output will just be fantasticOriginally posted by @ppartion View Postwhich would mean that the beam of the headlight would always be bright and not dependent on the throttle? that should be nice right

F.E Update
Finished my first free servicing about a week ago & tanked up yesterday for the third time (after 2.5 weeks), thought I'd post an update about my F.E figures.
My last refilling took in 7.165 liters but I went on reserve about 10kms before I filled up so I'll call it an even 7 liters (measuring reserve to reserve)
With mixed driving conditions (city/open roads) it returned a distance of 390 kilometers from 7 liters of fuel, before it went into reserve again.
That translates to roughly 55.7km to a liter.
Not bad at all I recon, considering the fact that my CD-Deluxe (100cc engine) which peaked @ 7bhp returned me figures of ~62.
This is twice the power still returning ~55, thats quite impressive.
What figures is everyone else seeing ?Last edited by Pyrotechnics; 09-19-2010, 12:27 PM.

55 kmpl is very impressive (do not bring 'bad' anywhere near). I too got 55 kmpl before my first service. After first service, did not measure the FE, but it would around 50-52 kmpl with spirited riding. Gave me 43 kmpl at 80 kmph speeds on ghats, with ripping in ghats to higher rpms. This FE is also very acceptable.

43 @ 80 is very decent. I think one of the Dazzler vs FZ comparos I read also claimed that no matter how much you rip the dazzler, its hard to get below the ~45 mark.
The FZ on the other hand dropped straight to 30 at the slightest change in driving style.

My front alloy got a bend!! ( potholes in kerala). I noticed it when I was washing on Saturday. I contacted service center they said they can't do anything and asked me to go somewhere they straighten alloys. Should I go for an insurance claim or rectify the bend?
Some liquid is coming from that bend. I've rode almost 200km after this.

@Nidct, thats a nasty bend. Edge bend means, it is probable that you were running front tyre with low pressure. Next time, take care to keep the air pressure correct with very frequent checks (if you are already doing that, its fine)
You better claim insurance and get a new alloy. It is very difficult to get the bent edge to normal position. More over, if you try to do, the rigidity will be compromised and it may get cracked. Also, you will get air leakage. Please change the alloy by claiming the insurance.
The road here in Hyderabad are the worst (I can not have any more words to describe). All the roads are completely eroded and washed away. I managed to fall last week and the front cowls got scratches plus silencer. As I guessed, there were no spares available for Dazzler yet.

I've filled Nitrogen and they have filled 28 at front and 35 at back tyre as they said this should be for Nitrogen. The company recommended is air pressure is 25 and 33. Will this be a reason? Another thing is that there isn't any scratch mark or paint gone in that region.Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View Post@Nidct, thats a nasty bend. As you said if I go for insurance claim I'll have to wait minimum of 1 month as SVC hasn't got any spares of Dazzler.
