I've heard from service guys that it's got some additional sensors at carburetor for good performance and mileage.

That is TPS (Throttle position sensor). This is used to avoid stalling of the engine and to prevent inaccurate amount of fuel flow in to the engine.

Whenever I put it in reserve, the engine get over and hauls every now and then.I have to open the throttle completely to keep it running, the situation get worse and worse as the fuel level drops and with almost half a litre of oil it refuses to start as if its run out of fuel. Do you think this problem might have something to do with a damage TPS???

Sorry for the OT but cannot help resist something this funny.
......got hit by a cow, that is called living a lifetime in a moment in India

Hope Honda revamps the Dazzler again so that it looks atleast different from the 110cc Twister.

              and

What about Unicorn,is it still being sold or being deliberately made to face extinction ???

One of my friends went to book a Unicorn (because of its sophisticated yet simple looks and Honda being one of the big four) and was told that its not available, the dealer insisted the Dazzler instead,so he went for the Yamaha SZ-R.

                Hi Surendar,
Not sure about refund of booking amount. Mostly any dealer won't return.

Also I enquired about the price & waiting time of Dazzler yesterday in KUN Honda, Adyar for my friend, they told that bike will be delivered within two days. I don't know y u r still waiting?

                • They will refund the amount only if the waiting period is still high....If the bike is about to come then I dont think so.

                          Both are good brother,

Before going to Test drive list out what you are looking for

its not 20 feet or 1 kms do a 5 kms test drive and decide

both are japs and they are good at mileage and performance
and again mileage and performance cant go together either one can be achieved if you tryst towards top speed forget mileage

and any bike all depends up on how you handle it

we know how to make a discover or splendor to give only 35 kmph mileage
Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity

                            F.E of Dazzler = 55+
Maintenance of Dazzler = Similar to the maintenance required by a Hero Honda Splendour or Honda Unicorn, so not much.

I think the real difference you will find between the Dazzler and the GS150R (or a Honda Unicorn) in terms of maintenance is that you will need to clean the Dazzler's chain every 500kms. The GS150R, I believe, has a covered chain.

On the other hand, the GS150R has rear drum brakes, this usually means they will tend to heat up a bit more and will require adjustment at every service. The Dazzler has rear discs, which are grippier, more resoponsive and require less maintenance.

The GS150R also has gas charged shocks will require some attention every once and then. The Dazzler has mono-shock suspension which seldom requires maintenance.

Looking at those points, the Dazzler scores 2 points over the GS's 1. I would say the Dazzler is better in terms of maintenance. Honda also has more service centres than Suzuki.

So basically, if you want a rock-solid bike which you will be using to travel inter-city more often, then go for the GS150R. The GS150R has slow initial pickup, so it won't thrill you in the city as much.

If you want a hybrid bike that is sprints forward for you when you turn the throttle, yet is fuel efficient, reliable and will be used in the city more often than the highways, then go for the Dazzler.

I have never experienced this kind of problem till the very last drop of fuel left in my tank! Clean fuel filter & see if this problem disappears

Dazzler & GS150 are having almost a same FE @50-55 km/l. But in spite of this dazzler's performance is much better than Gs150.Though Gs150 is having a six speed gearbox, Dazzler's top speed is much higher than Gs150, courtesy high lift cams which gives dazzler a strong top end! In handling department a mono suspension bike is always better. Also Dazzler being a Honda product, maintenance is never an issue. So I guess dazzler makes a cut here just by a whisker
