  • tappet noise and engine oil thing, well i ll push my bike to the service guys very soon, during the last service(3rd) they had changed the engine oil and had charged me sum 191 on that, earlier it was something 168,to they said from now on engine needs more quantity of oil.

Turbo_Biker STI : buddy if u like gsr so much then why did u book cb
well both bikes are diff , infact evry bike is diff in its own way though, its your own taste..ask as many suggestions and do research but u want, as u know, at the end you will ll be riding yo bike .
FYI am one of those who has waited for this bike patiently ,,n now am eagerly waiting for honda brio they dont compromise on built and ride quality for the hard earned money u pay.

    • my dazzler crossed 1000kms yesterday. I have been riding the bike under 4k rpm till now. now

can i completely rip the bike?

      or

go step by step like under 6k rpm till 1500kms, then under 8k till 2000kms?

i had taken my bike to 6000 RPM on the 3rd hour of delivery as i wanted to go for a 200 kms tour however i kept a eye that the RPM does not cross the 6000 mark i had kept the bike under 6000 RPM till first 1500 kms
hence i say take you bike for a good drive but then dont rip it more than 6000-7000 RPM keep the up-shift at 6k or 6.5k so even after a 2k drop in the rpm after up-shift wont slow you down.

what was said to me by the service manager was" don't keep your bike's engine under tension during the ruining period" what he meant was you can rev the bike but dont take it to the max where engine get hot and hotter though after every few hundred kms keep the increasing the rpm by 0.5k to 1k as per your comfort level. IT helped me a lot
Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead..

          • And, yet again it happened. Somebody pushed my bike when I parked the bike in parking lot. Got scratches on rear side cowl and a big scratch on tank. Seems people are feeling jealous of Dazzler.

Is there an Engine Kill Switch on UniDaz? (I would love that feature on my future bike, or my joy will be dimmed a bit)

Could you all respond to my query in the what bike section?

It's title is "A long lasting bike within 1 lac"

                          • I had my 2nd free service 15 days back. I had problems with the starter relay, that's why the bike wouldnt start. told them the problem and he said he sorted out. Now the bikes starter seems to be dead, as if we are pressing the starter button with out turning the ignition. It doesnt do anything. I have checked the battery & its fine. Dont know whats the problem? can i get that checked free of cost @ svc?

                            • Modification plan

hey guys i am plannin to modify my dazzler.
things i am going to change are
                              1.handle bar - 350 wide piece
                              2.airfilter- k&n
3.exhaust pipe - i am trying to bring the exhaust pipe under the rear seat so that it looks kinda like the cbr600r.
                              4.tyre- fz stock tyre.
5.paint- mix red with the stock red
i have all the money and even a good mechanic/alter guy but i am confused coz i dont want to mess up a good bike. so ... just temme wat u all feel abt this.

With what u planning, u are surely going to mess the bike.

A FZ tyre would hamper ur pickup, acceleration and even mileage
if u put airfilter, u need to ensure u do proper jetting.
exhaust pipe : i suggest u either stick to stock
with 3 piece handle : all clutch and acc cables will get tightened and it will be a mess

all these would void ur warranty as well

Rather than all this i suggest u:

to go for pirelli 17 inchers to improve perforamnce
u may go in for HID to improve light
buy cbr 250R or ninja or zmr/zma or R15 or 220 for more performance
