    • I had booked my dazzler(silver) 3 weeks ago when the dealer promised it in 3 weeks. Today i got a call saying that it will take atleast 3 months to deliver the bike. Only gold color is available now.
I think am gonna cancel this order and check out Yamaha SZ-R though its a lesser powerful bike than this.

Then you better go for gold color! Dazzler is a far better bike than Yamaha SZ-R in terms of performance!

I have HH Hunk (new version). nearly same configuration except looks.

            1) Regarding brake: due to dust getting in sound comes. in 1st service ask them to clean the pads.

            2) Regarding choke: It is recommended to use choke at every cold start because it doesn't have kicker. so why take a chance with the battery. Even the batteries are of 4 Amps(if i'm not wrong)

            rest i think is OK

In fact I've noticed that in summer, my bike dosen't start if I choke it.

In winter, yes, I used the choke every morning.

            (2) - Thats normal if the noise is the usual chain clutter, if it is anything else, you might need to get the service people to look at it.

            (1) - Brake Noise - As mentioned, its due to dust particles on the discs/pads. It will go away when they clean the discs at each service, but the noise will return, I dont think it can be avoided.
thank you guys for the reply...
finished first service yesterday....brake noise was there initially and once after going some distance, noise got eliminated...
but sound from chain still exists and its just a usual and normal one only i guess, as said by Pyrotechnics...
till first service i was keeping rpm under 4k and <55kmph...now today i did a 30 km ride and maintained around 4k and <4.5k rpm...once went for higher revs and touched 70 km max once and then came back to average speed...i just want to keep the engine not get spoiled in few years and should lasts for many years... so can any one suggest me what maximum rpm to keep the engine till 2nd service?

            • Dazzling on

I am returning to xBHP after a hiatus of close to 3 years...

Over the years my biking enthusiasm has known no bounds with a lot of solo touring being accomplished..

I got my new Dazzler on March 11th (PN Black colour)... I've completed 2300+ kms till date of while almost 1500-1700 were on the highway pre and post run-in...

I have owned a 3rd gen Unicorn and Karizma before

              My observations :

              - Rear disc is sharp, progressive and very useful indeed
              - Aerodynamics are a tad better than the Unicorn (noticeable in crosswinds)
              - Fuel efficiency is decent - 52-55 at sub 50 speeds before 1st service and 42-43 at 80 kmph post 1000 kms...
              - The digi speedo is a pleasure to the eye
              - The battery SUCKS! Every time I turn on the indicator and press the horn at the same time, the stock horn goes weak... Also the headlight dims... Its shocking that Honda could shortchange its customers with a measly 4Ah battery
              - Zapper tyres although wider are no good... Prone to skidding on mildly hard braking..
              - Fuel pipe is exposed to initiate easy petrol pilferage

I am currently trying to think of way to fit an HID considering the battery is so terrible... Any suggestions? The only additional electrical I have fitted is a remote lock for safety and keyless riding...

Overall I am happy with my Dazzler except for the battery... Maxxed at 107 kmph so far and still had more to go...

              • ^^My bike is running on 55/60W bulb for the past 3 months without any weak battery issues. The low beam is excellent but the higher beam went for a toss with the 55/60W bulb. Have been thinking of replacing with the stock one, but I was lazy all the time and just running like that.

Got another scratch on the grab rail, got it when I went for a haircut.

                • Ravi,

Are you running it on AC or DC??? DC meants a 55/60W bulb would consume more power and emit far less light than a 35W HID (from experience on my Zma)... Also, the battery would be murdered if its DC...

In the mean time, what other prob I am facing is the cold engine issue.. there is no starting prob when the engine is cold, but when I start riding the bike and engage the first gear, the bike wont move at usual accelaration and will have accelarate a little more than normal... Similalry cant shift soon to 2nd gear as the bike starts knocking a litle bit... Now I posted this prob earlier too and someone suggested me using choke which I did, but still that feel of bike not picking up with less accelaration seems to be preset.. It feels that the bike is running out of fuel and will soon die... Anybody facing something like this...
i am facing this problem done 1990 kms on my bike 3rd n 4th servicing pending i ride in city conditions below 60 mostly
