  • @Arvotron, the bike's chain looks completely dry, that is why the rusting. Lube it immediately. You can buy a can of Honda's 20w40 1L pack and change the oil at a local mechanic shop.

    • Please help me!

1.My dazzler is almost 3 weeks old, I find the back of the seat vibrating a little when i ride over pot holes or humps. Is it normal?
      2. Will the bike get smoother as the days pass by?

Open the seat, open the toolkit box, and then fit the toolkit box properly so that it will not move in the box. Also, check if the tools in the box are tied together with the rubber band.

          • changing the handlebar

I'm quite tall and i feel that the handlebar is placed too high, and i have to bend my elbows too much while riding. This just looks awkward, so I thought I'll try clip-ons or any other handlebars. Will the handlebars of FZ or Apache suit this bike?

Also @Ravi, I noticed from your offroading pics that you had changed your handlebar with CBZ's. From the pics it looks like it isnt much lower than Dazzler's stock handlebar, in fact it looks just the same to me, apart from the colour. Do you observe any change in riding posture?

Cost me about 550 rs. High grade steel construction.

Initially had problems with the clutch and the accelerator since the wire had lost tension due to the lowered height. But then it was rectified by Mechs at castrol bike zone and its now back to normal.

The fun of riding has increased henceforth and its really a pleasure riding it every time. Experiencing palm pain when riding with a pillion on bumper to bumper traffic, but its negligible and is compensated by the fun.

              Overall, satisfied.
Sirius, Can you tell me the shop name from which you fitted these clip ons. They look awesome already, but if it was me I would paint it black. Also can you explain which parts are adjustable. Thanks

Coz i shared a unicorn with my frien and we both redlined it from the very start and it's still spot on. I went to the nearby service centre and it was still flooded ( it's in the cellar0. I had to tow my bike back again. I promise i get to the depth of this. How can a 2 month old bike lose it's piston rings???? I think i got a defective piece. everything on my bike juz seems to not work properly. and the front steering cone set also started makin 'clik' noises. I keep consoling me dat it'll be alright. and now, i'm losing it.

as per Honda's warranty with your bike, they are bound to change/ replace any engine related work free of charge... they cannot refuse or run away from that.. however they may delay the process of repairing sighting parts availability and stuff.. I say stick your guns and get things repaired asap.

as per the manual, your 1st service is due once the bike has completed 1000kms. Please refer to the service and warranty manual that came along with your bike. It will give you all the necessary details you need regarding your bike's maintainence.

Just don't thrash your bike to higher revs till it completes its run in period as the engine is still setting in and will have a longer and smoother life and give you better performance and economy if you treat her gently during this period .

                          Cheers
