No cold start problems (yet), I use choke for a couple seconds to warm it up. I've set my idle rpm to 1100-1200, and now it doesnt switch off while idling.Originally posted by Srinivas Shekar View Post1. Yeah.. I guess it's kinda ok.. The bike gives troubles sometimes when it's really cold in the morning right? =)
2. Stock setting is medium.. Switch it to Soft if you ride alone most of the time.
3. Yeah you can change it.. If yo want a better horn.. Go for Roots Horns.. The sound is Amazing.
As for the horn, I'm planning to buy a cheap stock horn (of sum other bike, having a different tone) and install it as an addon to the stock horn. I dont need loudness but want to experiment with tones.
Should it be connected in series or parallel? Do i need current limiters to restrict current drawn if i connect in series? That is assuming the addon horn consumes more amperes than the stock.
Or do I simply connect them in parallel?
Also, any gud mechanic shop suggestions near Ashok Nagar in Chennai?

Congrats, you will be glad about your R & D + your decision in the years to come !Originally posted by Arvotron View PostHey All!
After three months of shortlisting, studying reviews and visiting showrooms, I decided to get myself this beaut from the Honda stable, the CBF150MB aka Dazzler!
The suspension starts off a little on the harder side (even on "Soft" setting), but once you go past 1000kms, it will soften up significantly.Originally posted by Arvotron View Post
2) The mono suspension feels good, but I doubt that its in Hard. What is the stock setting and is it advisable to change it?

Gave for 3rd service today
Hi All,
Completed happy ride of 4000kms in my dazzler.
But given for 3rd service, since the scheduled date for service is going to expire.
Everything is going fine till now, except a patch of rust in the silencer.
I had complained abt this to the service person, but they are telling that it is a common issue.
But the case is, if it happens after 1 or 2 years it may be normal. My bike is just 5 months old and I'm a bit worried abt it.
Have anyone experienced this ever before? Can I claim warranty for this?

I've seen the rust patches on the silencer of many new Honda bikes. It seems that there is some problem with the way they are manufactured. The rust can be seen even on the bikes in the dealer's showrooms. This is strictly specific for the silencer of the bike (any Honda bike).Originally posted by vgs.bharathi View PostHi All,

Honda should take measures to ensure this problem is resolved.
Not sure if this is covered under warranty. Probably not.Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

Hi cmahajan,
Thanks for the info.
Hi Ravi,
Will post the pics soon.
Hi All,
Took back my dazzler yesterday after 3rd service. They agreed to repaint it on free of cost. Since its continuously raining here, in chennai, they told to bring the bike on yet another day after rain stops.
I'll inform once the job is over.Last edited by vgs.bharathi; 12-02-2010, 12:24 PM.Happy & Safe Biking

hi everyone
My dazzler has run 450kms & done with 1st service. i am getting average of 45km/l on riding it below 4k rpms. Don't you guys think thats a little less on sane riding.
Also my bike de-accelerates very quickly once i leave the throttle. In 1st it comes to stall very quickly, even on downward slope my bike stalls if not given accelerator.
I have other bike & also ridden friends stunner but they don't stall that quickly. I feel a jerk once accelerator once i leave the throttle. plz help on this

According to me it will look good!!!Originally posted by power150 View Postcan we put fz headlight assembly for dazzler will it suit
Dont look at the mileage till you finish run in period.....as you stated your bike hass done just 450 kms so better wait and be patient till the bike finishes run in.....Originally posted by grshnehete View PostMy dazzler has run 450kms & done with 1st service. i am getting average of 45km/l on riding it below 4k rpms. since you mentioned that even on a slope the bike stalls maybe the brakes are an issue here!!!!

the bike runs normally when i engage nuetral from 1st gear ie from 15-0 kmph but when in gear the bike begins to stall. no problem in nuetral, so i guess brakes are not of a issue
