In gears, if you stop acceleration, the bike will stall slowly and it is very very normal. Engine braking works on this principle only.Originally posted by grshnehete View PostHH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

i know this is engine braking. but the deceleration is very fast. in previous post i told that i have ridden friends new stunner but that one doesn't have that much decelerationOriginally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostIn gears, if you stop acceleration, the bike will stall slowly and it is very very normal. Then, show it to SVC people and demonstrate to them. Also check if both wheels are freely rotating.Originally posted by grshnehete View Posti know this is engine braking. but the deceleration is very fast. in previous post i told that i have ridden friends new stunner but that one doesn't have that much decelerationHH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

I think this is normal. You are experiencing this because the engine is new. Allow the engine to polish itself (this will happen automatically) over a period of time. Let's say till you reach about 2000 Kms. If the problem still persists then consider a thorough checkup and change the engine oil being used. Make sure that you are using the oil recommended for your bike.Originally posted by grshnehete View PostMy dazzler has run 450kms & done with 1st service. i am getting average of 45km/l on riding it below 4k rpms. Don't you guys think thats a little less on sane riding.
Also my bike de-accelerates very quickly once i leave the throttle. In 1st it comes to stall very quickly, even on downward slope my bike stalls if not given accelerator.
I have other bike & also ridden friends stunner but they don't stall that quickly. I feel a jerk once accelerator once i leave the throttle. plz help on this
Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

Vibration issues >53Kmph
My dazzler runs great until ~50 Kmph speed. However, at 53 Kmph (its consistent!) the whole body starts vibrating and the run is not smooth anymore. I have done ~1100kms as of now. I remember reading that someone else also had the same problem (53Kmph speed vibration) - am wondering how it got fixed..? Does anyone experience this..?

Which dealer do you go for service..? I went to KUN adyar and I wasnt happy with their service - they did not address any of my concern.!

Hi Ravi,
Will post the pics soon.
Hi All,
Took back my dazzler yesterday after 3rd service. They agreed to repaint it on free of cost. Since its continuously raining here, in chennai, they told to bring the bike on yet another day after rain stops.
I'll inform once the job is over.

Every bike starts to vibrate at a particular speed. Probably the Dazzler starts ti vibrate at 53 (as you suggest). I'm pretty sure that the vibrations will stop/reduce above a speed of 60-65...try it once...since you have already put on 1100 Kms on the odo it should be safe...Originally posted by palramu View PostMy dazzler runs great until ~50 Kmph speed. If not, get the bike properly serviced (maybe from another dealer/mechanic).Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

alarmingly low FE
Having mileage problems with my new Dazzler
Just completed 100kms and the fuel is about to run out.. i had filled 6 litres immediately after delivery. I'm really concerned now as the fuel is almost empty (one bar remaining), which i assume is around 1.5 ltr before it hits reserve. SO my mileage is around 23 km/ltr
Should i approach SVC immediately or let it run a few hundred more kms and re calculate mileage?
Ive checked my air pressure, I dont use choke for long periods in the mornings and my idling rpm is 1200 rpm. I dunno what is causing the drop in FE.
Also on the day of delivery, a mechanic was toying around with my bike and he revved my bike all the way till 11000 rpm! He said he was testing it?! Anyways does revving the engine while in neutral damage it? I really hope the low mileage is not due to this..
Otherwise the bike is perfect.. no vibrations, gear shifting is smooth, just love the confidence the bike provides while driving in any kind of tarmac.

We Indians love to calculate the mileage, don't we?Originally posted by Arvotron View PostHaving mileage problems with my new Dazzler

Well..your bike is brand new...so there's no point in calculating the mileage right now. Wait till the 1st service and till it crosses 1000 Km mark...only then you can get the correct figures..
As far as revving in neutral is concerned, it shouldn't harm the engine as such but a new engine should not be revved so hard. Also, I don't see why one would want to rev the bike so hard in neutral...avoid it!Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

Your method of assuming mileage is wrong. Seems your bike has not even hit the reserve. After the bike hits reserve, there is still 1.9L fuel is left. There are so many factors that influence the bike's mileage. Without checking all others, do not conclude that your bike is giving low mileage. For example, the fuel station where you have filled the fuel might fill less quantity which directly effects the FE.Originally posted by Arvotron View PostHaving mileage problems with my new Dazzler
