Marquez' race simulation was bat shit crazy (lap 13 to 33 in the link below)! If he keeps this up, he will win races by 20 second margin, this year. http://resources.motogp.com/files/te...ion=1391681751

Just a random factoid : The reigning moto2 champ and Tech3 rider Pol Espargaro was in Bangalore for the opening of Dainese store in Bangalore.

Is that 'Burgess Out' effect shown by Rossi at Sepang? Thats quite astonishing by Vale at Sepang looking at the dreadful season he had last year. Looks like he getting better with bike and the setup.

No, I did not go. A few of my friends did go. They clicked pictures with the champ. As for the coverage, I don't know why everyone covered the store opening but Espargaro's name got lost in the news articles like this article on overdrive's site :

I guess it's probably because he hasn't raced in MotoGP yet and hence not that popular.

Espargaro Rocks, M1 seems better suited to him, guess he's got Lorenzo's riding style(I know these are just test times).

And I hope everyone had a good Break

Couple of pictures from the Auto Expo 2014. Interestingly Honda chose Stoner over Pedrosa/ Marquez and Yamaha chose Lorenzo over Rossi.

Why did the article list Dovi as a Honda rider? Must be a typo.

So Honda is still a better bike than the M1.
                            here are some observations:
How are they managing downshifts so well? It seems likely that the Torductor – the rotating torque sensor on the gearbox output shaft on the factory Hondas, rumored to cost 60,000 euros – plays a key role here. Initially employed to assist with upshifts and smooth power delivery, it can also play a role when changing down through the gears. The sensor detects the torque going through the output shaft, measuring both the engine torque as it drives the rear wheel, but also the braking torque from the rear wheel, as it slows the engine when the throttle is closed. Based on that signal, it would be possible to both monitor engine braking much more closely, and track and respond to it using the engine management system.

Update from moto3 : Honda's KTM-killer didn't quite live up to it's name. Alex Marquez is f***ed, to put it crudely. 16th fastest overall at the end of Valencia testing.
