I guess both Rossi and Jorge are happy with the tyres brought at PI by Bridgestone. At sepang, both the yamahas had tyre issues, but Rossi was able to ride around the problem unlike Jorge. But again race is a completely different ball game.

          So it's official now:
Movistar returns with Lorenzo, Rossi Yamaha MotoGP team.

I felt the current bike looked a bit boring or pale. But with Movistar, hopefully it should look more dynamic

The bike to be unveiled at the Qatar GP, 19th March (wednesday) before practice start.

Not too far away. Counting down to the fire works.

pretty good race or semi-race runs from lorenzo, rossi, dani and even cal today...rossi seems to have had the most impressive semi-race simulation with several low 1:30s and even 1:29s, which is a better run than dani's and lorenzo's...but on the other hand, rossi and dani only did runs for about half (or less) of the full race worth of distance, and lorenzo did one half-distance and one nearly full distance and in the latter run of 24 straight laps his lap times were going down towards the end averaging only around mid 1:30s (which was weirdly enough no better than what cal was doing in his half a race run until apparently his front tyre went to shit), perhaps his tyres going off ?

although, i am not sure if they all did their runs on the same rubber or not ? no site/journalist has yet reported anything on this important point..

it's also interesting that the honda and yamaha bikes have been much much slower on this year's tyres at PI than the times they did in the race last year, the ducati thus being much nearer to them...

and btw that was a LOL of a video by yamaha about their finally officially declared movistar deal.

                  WTH is this??

first of all rules should not be changed so late for the current season, it may upset team strategy of some teams.

second, you dont create a new category so late, when the season is about to start.

third, most bad thing is, if you win a race or come close to threatening us, restriction will be imposed on you to reduce your competitiveness.

                  i do not like this.

Looks like Dorna spec ECU is quite competitive. Didnt expect Ducati to climb up the ladder in time sheet. MotoGp has become lot more interesting than it ever was.

spec ECU with the latest magneti mareli software has benefitted ducati the most. since magneti mareli is the ECU supplier for factory ducati bikes, it is believed that this new software is either very close to, or same as the one used in factory ducati bikes. hence its a win win situation for ducati.

                        New excitement this year.
Bridgestone to introduce new colors to denote rubber compound. It goes like this:
                        Extra soft-green strip
                        Soft- white strip
                        Medium -black(no strip)
                        Hard- red strip.
I just hope teams don't select the tyres by the color that suits their bike

Nice one but even they Yamaha want they cannot select the blue one as the extra soft tyres are limited to only open category

Guys, can anyone tell me which HD channels broadcast MotoGP in India? I'll be at my parents' house for the season starter and I think watching the night race on their 65 inch TV will be a real treat. Just want to make sure they are subscribed to that channel in their TV package when I get there. I googled for it and figured that it is Ten Sports but just want to double check.
                              Bajaj Pulsar 150 : 2004-2005
                              Honda Dio : 2005-2012
                              KTM 200 Duke : 2012-
                              Aprilia RSV4 APRC ABS : 2014-

MotoGP is broadcast by both Ten Sports and Star-ESPN in India.

Most HD packages will have the Sports HD package part of the deal.
