damn...dani screwed up what was a killer last couple of laps and seemed like he finally found his racer instinct this season for once...rossi rode pretty good for most of the race, but was outraced by the repsol duo towards the end eventually...disappointment for lorenzo again, seemed like jerez or le mans for him again, totally lost pace eventually...that's 2 kickass races consecutively...that 93 dude is not gonna get beaten this season at least.

that was very lucky for both dani and marquez though...that kind of clipping takes people out more often than not..

Damn....marc marquez 7 on 7.When is he gonna stop? Todays race was really interesting, dani pressuring marquez and marquez had to go on defence.

The run-off area saved the day for MM today when he arrived at Rossi at turn 1 a little too hot. Good race by top 3 nevertheless.

Another cracker of a race! Good fight by Rossi and Dani at the end of the race. Last time in Mugello Lorenzo did the best he could, this time it was Dani and yet it isn't enough to stop Marquez!

Oh man what an amazing race!!
Lorenzo lost his lead as expected..
But a great fight for Dani & Rossi, they sure were giving a tougher fight to Marquez!!!
Dani could've easily won this race but two incidents sealed his chance!!
First was that yellow flag thing, Rossi took the opportunity & overtook both Repsol guys!!
Second time, I was sure he will overtake Marquez, but he came too hot, hit his rear & lost his pace.
I think their was immense pressure on Marquez to win this home race, as he almost went wide at every corner but gained speed quickly too.
Overall one of the best race of this season.😊

no, rossi didnt overtake them using the yellow flag opportunity (that would have been illegal)...instead, dani and marc raised their hands to let rossi through precisely because they had both overtook rossi while the yellow flags were being waved (but didnt realise that the yellow flags were being waved) and when they realised so they let rossi through which was the legal and courteous thing to do.

The Yamahas, Rossi in particular, looked competitive in the first half of the race. But in the second half and especially in the last laps, the gap with the Hondas became visible again. Probably a different race strategy by HRC, also. Nice seeing Pedro at the front again, but I do not believe he could ever have won the final scrap against Marquez, mistake or not; too bad Vale couldn't stay close enough, because he would have used the chance better than Dani, -- a last lap with MM vs VR could have been something.
Lorenzo probably had a small problem, they were looking at his front tire and shaking heads when he came back to the pits.

If you are a MotoGP racer then you dont want to be the guy riding # 26 motorcycle. Personally I feel Dani has been made look so much inferior this season by Marquez. He overtook Marquez and then Marquez just eased past him like snatching a candy from a kid. I know he has been in top flight and riding the factory bike which is competitive enough to win the race, personally it is not the question of getting a right bike, it is the question of being strong on the track and defend the position ahead of the highly talented and gifted individual named Marquez which no one did this season. The reason I am bringing Dani into this equation is they both ride identical bike with some different race day settings. But the difference between them is a day and night!

Dani fans please dont feel offended I just feel that what Marquez can do why cant Dani, why Dani just stays behind Marc and let him go and win the races? It was just this race where I saw Dani fighting with Marc, may be because the race was in Spain.

Like I said last week, it really is turning into a boring MotoGP season in terms of having a winner at the end of a day. The races are now more predictable.

well thank you very much, I didn't knew about the yellow flag thing[emoji4].
& regarding Lorenzo, leaving one or two races he starts strong but just losses pace ones Marquez overtakes him, it kinda feels like he lets them attack him!!

His lines were different. His apex was way further. If you see the re-telecast of this race, you will notice that his apex was way further and it gave him a better entry and exit speed.

True! It was also nice to see Marquez conceding a place after he ran off the track. This shows presence of mind as all the top riders had their brains in the right place.

If Mugello was Lorenzo land, the Catalan track was Pedrosa's kingdom. Marquez has invaded their favorite tracks. I believe that the races are just as exciting...especially the last two. Flashback to last year when Marquez was a rookie and was learning his way around. At that time, it was more of an even contest. One year and the progress has been exponential. Marquez brings with him, the typical Moto2 riding style. It is exciting to watch as he does things on a motorcycle that most would only dream of. One classic case is the qualifying yesterday.
People who have been trained at the California Superbike School or those who would have read the Keith Code bible would know what an SR is and how if affects the way riders corner. A tech3 rider lost control while the rear was sliding and his SR was evident as he cut the throttle, stood up the bike and ran into gravel. In stark contrast, check the replay of the slide and crash of Marquez during qualifying. He kept looking where he wanted to go, his throttle hand never rolled down and he was loose on the handlebar as he tried to go with the slide. It is only when the front lost traction due to extreme lean that the front low-sided.

It is these small parts of a riders capability that make MotoGP the cream of riding abilities. In fact Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Rossi, Bradl and Smith all bring something unique to the race. A small observation...check Bradl, he is tall and as a result his pseudo riding position may put the CG way up; but check his commitment to racing, he almost always races with a compromised position where his torso is closer to the bike...just to ensure that the CG is lower. Too good....MotoGP and Racing fan for life!
Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

After the race Rossi told that his bike didnt shown much performance.. Today front and rear tyre of Rossi's bike was medium.. bt most of the riders used is Hard.. Thats why I told lost the stability..

you are grossly misinformed mate :-) pretty much every factory and satellite riders chose medium front and rear, except bradl who chose the hard front.

yep..marquez was taking wide sweeping lines many times today, which appeared very lorenzo-ish in general.
