Even if both cost same i will anyday pick up a Duke 125 over that CBR 250. There is more to a bike than just engine size .

because KTM has better design, a engine that is built for riding pleasure, its a toy while this 250 is just a basic 250. ktm may not be as fast as this 250 but it will be a hell lot of. fun

that's what a half decent paintjob will do...
with a more than decent looking exhaust.

            • I'm in love with CBR250R all over again after watching those test ride videos!
              Thanks for sharing those.
The bike looks huge unlike R15 which looked puny in size.

              • CBR 150 exhaust looks cool inspired from the VFR1200 compared to the CBR250R .... Also the chassis is different, CBR150 has a twin spar beam type where as CB250R has tubular structure....

Some great paintjobs and exhausts.... guess Honda too might come up with aftermarket stuff like Yammies did for thier R15 anf FZ16 (Daytona) for their motorcycles too

The Idea of "Pleasure" and "Fun" is not limited to a single interpretation. Its a relative term. As you yourself have noted "ktm may not be as fast as this 250 but it will be a hell lot of. fun". For some the fun is in the speed. For some, its the way the engine just munch miles lazily and so on.

Bang on. The better term is KTM is a toy and CBR250 will be more of a tool.

Good ... lower the price, better it is....Honda would have engineered this tubular chassis equally well compared to a beam twin spar chassis .... But guess all that can be only be put to test once its arrived in India... till then its all "would have" and "could have"

                          • An identical little brother for VFR1200.
                            Well priced for a 250cc.
Who care where it manufactured... as long as Honda keeps up their standard quality.
