sheel and some others were discussing about the R15 vs the CBR on a different forum
i read that and commented here.
We weren't discussing R15 VS CBR.
    At least, I wasn't.

Not sure if Sheel was referring to Abhishek's post on some other forum ..
Yes, I had quoted fiero_f2 aka Abhishek's post.

      Yuck!

Anyway, I do look forward to a Ninja 250 v Mojo 300 v CBR250R shootout in all the bike mags. Should be quite something.

Ouch!! . I really do feel bad for Mojo. But come to think of it. There is some ironic truth in it. I think, Mojo will provide exclusivity.

Anyway, regarding CBR 250, at quoted price, is sure to do well. Though I don't think it will be anywhere near as common as Pulsars. 1.3 - 1.5 is still a lot for the vast majority.

But...ahem! my neighbourhood is sure to see a new CBR 250 parked inside our premises .

He is someone who rode the bike @ the track... what is so kiddish about it sir?

            Edit:
Mojo - 50 more CC's, probably 2-5 BHP more, if priced better, it could be an interesting offroading bike!!

            • if any body is planning to sell their 15 do it asap. once the 250rr news gets spread or once it is launched the r15 resale value will seriously dip. i can still get 75k if i sell my 2 year old 15.
superbikes are the biggest blunders on indian roads.

                • Wild Speculation:

I am starting to think that the ZMR isn't readily available because Honda doesn't want its sales to dent that of the CBR250R! The problems with spare parts availability & long waiting period could just be Honda's doing to avoid users from buying the ZMR & instead saving up for the CBR250R

Offroad bike, dont really want any jazzy panels on it! a nice paint job, throwing away unnecessary thrash would do! I will make it sweeter... will give it M&M and ask them to waive thier prices... lol I am sure they could do that to sell atleast some of thier bikes.

We might be going OT soon!

                              • So Shumi from Overdrive says 1.33L for the non ABS version&1.45L for the the ABS version both ex-showroom prices.
I calculated by adding 15% to the ex-showroom prices&non ABS came up to 1.52L&C-ABS came to 1.66L OTR.
If this is true, this is killer pricing!
Btw, what colors will be available in India? Will the VFR red&silver scheme be available or not?
After 3 black bikes&a black car, I'm bored of black!
                                Quench my thirst with gasoline!
