My mistake dude. When he said "mere paas ek silver non-abs hai agar aapko chahiye" I assumed he had the shipment. Apparently he had consignment details in front of him for the shipment yet to arrive. Spoke to him and surprisingly they didn't receive a piece for even display yet .... as per him i.e.Originally posted by usman_imazz View Post

So the dealer has multiple showrooms?...& the order in main showroom is what counts in your case?..Originally posted by vijaydutt View PostMy booking number is 10th as given by the main office of Silicon honda Basavanagudi. As of BSK 3rd stage my booking is second but the bokking number from the head office counts always..sigpic

I second you mate( did mention the same in my earlier posts).Originally posted by shivank View PostWhat's the annoyance guys? I see,the ones who are trying to crash the CBR party are the ones who haven't booked it yet.Either we are envious or we are really up to something constructive. Those who have booked the bike are cheerful and waiting. Those who have nothing to do are complaining.I guess, the thread belongs to those who have paid the booking amount and not for the errand-critics.Right?..
Everyday, there are some hundred guys who come here and throw detailed reports on each and every part of the bike. Some have been useful like, the one by the guy with MT-01 keys.
Apart from that and a few more,I believe every one is trying to nit-pick things from wherever and whatever possible.
First off, those who are trying to judge the all-round capabilities of the bike by riding it for just 300-400 meters of a stretch are just blabbering.Simply turn a deaf ear to these guys. You CANNOT judge a bike by riding for a few hundred meters.Yes,you might feel the 'pull' from the motor or the bite from the brake lever but that's not all of it.If that were the case, then road-testers all over the world wouldn't spend days or a week on a bike/car for no reasons. One has to get to the minutest of detail that goes into making a complete bike/car.Only then, can he/she comment on the worthiness of it
Secondly, the quality of plastics.Even if it's bad,or lets say, very poor I am sure it wouldn't fall off the first or second day after taking the delivery.I have a 6 year old Activa and I think plastics are all very firmly sticked together till now.Actually,I can't remember the last day or the last time I bothered to look at them. Also,I can't recall from my last ride if I felt the oozing quality of the levers while clutching or pulling the front-brake.Pegs,need to check them!
If anyone backs-out because of the plastic quality,I suggest him this-Tupperware,a brand which makes the best of plastick-y things.Surface finish is brilliant! For all you care is about plastics and not the innards of the bike.
Leaving plastics aside,I haven't really heard anything very negative or deal-breaker about the bike?? Coming to the handling, which I feel is one most important aspect of the bike.Compare it with Ninja and R15 only if you want to go hard-core track racing every weekend(where?).Nevertheless,as a capable handler the reviews have been good.Yes?
For an average Joe,I bet it will do everything brilliantly!
Therefore,my humble request to all, lets keep the thread moving and avoid yelling about Ifs and buts! I like visiting this thread, please keep it clean..
PS: I cannot afford the CBR250R as of yet! Haven't booked it and have no silly obsession with it.
Guys, get behind your dealers and get your bikes asap!"Never recreate from your memory, always imagine new places"

Good choiceOriginally posted by waseem46 View PostTuk a test ride like hell.... touched 125... not really much impressed with the FAT Tyre... and performance.... my previous R15 was a better handling bike... and a performer tooo.... and i respect YAMAHA for this... so wanted something better than R15...
so... Tuk my booking amount back today! and decided to go 4 NINJA!!!!

(This is my personal Choice... please dont start HONDA-YAMAHA War) :P

Once the deliveries are in full swing, I'm sure, someone like PlanetDSG, Bachoos or PRS would get those things here as well.Originally posted by MeTaL_MaNiaC View Postthat double bubble screen is a must have for my bike.. I too have booked my bike from Silicon Honda, Mysore Road. RV Road is the main branch. They have already consolidated the bookings and are going to deliver the bike in the same order in wich they were booked.Originally posted by vijaydutt View PostSilicon Honda RV road is the main showroom and BSK 3rd stage silicon honda is one of the branches.

Saw the bike in flesh yesterday.. and man.. its a work of art. Looks super awesome. I was a bit apprehensive about how the back would look, but it gels well with the entire bike. Plastic quality is on par with that of ninja.. if not better. Tyres are super sticky. Continental contigo. Asked the dealer about availability of IRC tyres as the sticker mentioned both and he said that it would depend on what comes in the lot. AFAIK, we would be getting continental contigo's and IRC's would not be available. As told before, saree guard is an eyesore.
The fairing will have to be removed to remove the front number plate holder and I dont know how good the honda service will be assembling the fairing back. I am going to keep the front number plate holder and stick the number. Bike feels a tad heavy. The stance is not as sporty as a R15 but it is not very cruiser like either as mentioned in all reports. All in all.. its a true VFM bike and one of the best available in India in this budget. Could not start the bike or check the storage available under the seat as the keys were not available.
Deliveries will begin in first week of may. Have taken some snaps...will upload it in sometime.
