        • one more point to ponder would be, has anything been modded further in the engine department, or is this a cosmetic ( and a good one ) makeover.

Most of us think (speculate that is) that its only a cosmetic makeover.
I'm sure you know more than we do. C'mon, spill it

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

            • ^^ they have already cut costs by indianising everything.. What i like is the engine has been painted black, makes it look meaner. ( imagine a blue, white and black paint scheme on this baby ).

*wink* But i will get back to u soon on the inner tech.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Also the tentative launch date if available?
Was thinking of getting the tail section fitted on my bike, if it is backward compatible..

so by localizing the parts does the new R15 will get a reduction in the onroad price or the new one will be available for the same price with the modded(read: look wise) one.

I am not sure, but, somewhere I read that most of the part of the price tag of R15 goes as a royalty to the R series development team of Yamaha. I am not sure. Thus, the cost remains the same for Indian or An foreign built unit.
