          • I doubt that there will be a price cut as they are bringing a revamped version, I think they will bring the new R-15 with the same price as of the older one.

            • A reworked R15 just makes it all the better...the rear looks more voluminous now and the tail lights too,a angle of R15 which was always an eyesore to the whole package..nice job by yamaha

              • As of now the word out is that the tyre size is being experimented, it could be anything from 120 onwards for the rear tyre. ( the one in the pic however does not look more than a 110 ).

they are very tight lipped on technical specs, but a higher performance engine can be expected. ( they are keeping the CBR250, and the P220 in mind and price ).

The bike will be more expensive than the outgoing model.

What all makes through, is not confirmed. So dont flame me if im wrong!!

                • Lets wait n watch then. Most of us will be happy with any of the scenarios (more powerful engine or only a revamped look) if the product is priced correctly.

Although after seeing the picture I feel that the engine is same but I will be more than happy if proven wrong

I think it looks similar to the RTR 180's 110/70/17", which can easily be fit with the same swingarm, as confirmed by DK.
I'm waiting for this all the more, since my rear tyre is leaking air (many small punctures)&it needs replacement as I've already worn it out! Would be great if something is being tested already by the company for the bike.

                          Hmmm now this sounds interesting...
Something on the lines of FZ and FZ-S
R-15 and R-15 RVR (ReVamped Rear)

That means performance minded people will go for the older one and showboyz should end up getting the RVR...

But according to JD the new one might have a powerful engine so it would be good in performance as well. I think we can not do anything other than wait for the launch of RVR
