That's because of the rear seat, which is more raised than the photoshopped image.

This is not R-125 but R-15 and we do have a confirmation on this from yamaha back office, the mail is posted earlier.

and refer to the photos uploaded by Vaibhav which will clear the doubt, the silencers are different from R-125 and except the tail and alloys everything looks the same as that of old r15, plus yamaha is talking of a price bump in this model of R-15

you mean to say Pulsar 220 engine on Yamaha? nice.
If you ride like there's no tomorrow, there won't be.

                          • the dealer said there is no new engine cause if it were so and the launch date being jan end they would have sent mechanics for training or something. he just inferred its a cosmetic mod. hope the price it not bumped up too bad.
                            Regardless, Life shall go on.

                            • True!! Even I am praying that they dont hike the price because after listening about the CBR price I think that lots of people will move towards the R-15 RVR. But this might also lead to a slight price hike because now yamaha need not worry about the competition from CBR..

                              • Did he mention anything about the date ? Caz today my father enquired Erode Yamaha showroom and they don't even have an idea about the release of the face-lifted R15 ... And they are still taking bookings for the old R15 (They promised to deliver in 20 days for that), Well that confirms the old will be there too ... If the old one's there, There will be a price variation between the both right ? I am just confused ...
