Buddy there are gimmicks going around for every manufactures. the reason i say is that when i asked my dealer for booking myself an R15 that guy(which is some close to me) said you must wait Jan 2011 that there is a modified R15, but he has no clue what are the differences. so i asked how much time for the old one to get. The guy said if you need it so urgent there will be some showrooms which have the old stock. we can get it from there. so i said no. i have plenty enough time...(coz i love my FZ too)

Yesterday i have sent a mail regarding the launch of new and updated version of R15 and below are the reply i got
"Dear Sir
We apologise for the inconvenience caused. We
would like to inform you that the upgraded R15 will
be launched in January'2011.but due to some

It seems that Yamaha Back Office guys are having this template copied and saved
They are sending the same reply to everyone, but yes they can not disclose the details until there is an official launch...
The only thing left now is the price, hope there is not a huge bump (although I am praying that they do not touch the price at all)
