Buddy there are gimmicks going around for every manufactures. the reason i say is that when i asked my dealer for booking myself an R15 that guy(which is some close to me) said you must wait Jan 2011 that there is a modified R15, but he has no clue what are the differences. so i asked how much time for the old one to get. The guy said if you need it so urgent there will be some showrooms which have the old stock. we can get it from there. so i said no. i have plenty enough time...(coz i love my FZ tooOriginally posted by BladeBoy View Post

i'm hoping a price hike like in the fz series. max 10k shouldn't be more than that. lesser the better.Originally posted by shadabk01 View PostTrue!! Even I am praying that they dont hike the price because after listening about the CBR price I think that lots of people will move towards the R-15 RVR. But this might also lead to a slight price hike because now yamaha need not worry about the competition from CBR..
yamaha customer care has confirmed the stipulated launch date being jan end and said there will be a price hike. dunno whether both or only one of the models will continue. my dealer is trying to finish off stock though he is taking new bookings. he told me to book the bike and if yamaha launched a new bike he will give me the first bike in the first lot. lolOriginally posted by BladeBoy View PostDid he mention anything about the date ? Caz today my father enquired Erode Yamaha showroom and they don't even have an idea about the release of the face-lifted R15 ... And they are still taking bookings for the old R15 (They promised to deliver in 20 days for that), Well that confirms the old will be there too ... If the old one's there, There will be a price variation between the both right ? I am just confused ...Regardless, Life shall go on.

Thats a different picOriginally posted by sherry_unicornlover View Post
. It has the front shocks of R125(matt black painted shock) and the disk is placed on the left side of the rim. The pic which I edited has the disc on the right side and has R15's shock(metallic black). Also the footpegs are a bit rear-set in my pic.

It seems that Yamaha Back Office guys are having this template copied and saved
They are sending the same reply to everyone, but yes they can not disclose the details until there is an official launch...
The only thing left now is the price, hope there is not a huge bump (although I am praying that they do not touch the price at all)
