    Buddy, everyone is sure that this is the new R-15, no one is denying the fact. We even know that it is going to be launched in January

    And rest of the things happening around will always happen whenever there is a new launch coming up, we can not get away from that so no need to get hyper

        I remember once DK was talking about yamaha reducing the prices of R15. Maybe he was referring to this R15.

              Phew. Posting after a long time. The bike looks fresh, the rear tail looks good. The mudguard looks fugly (hope its so in the spy pic, and looks better in reality).

              And seriously, what has the Fazer taught us? Add a couple more good looking plastic parts, up the price and people buy it! Simple. Exact same philosophy. No offense to Fazer or FZ riders. Both bikes are excellent machines, just I don't understand the price.

                plus I do not think there will be a under-powered R15 because we have already seen a mail from Yamaha back office stating that there will be slight bump in price and I seriously do not think they will do it for a underpowered R-15

                My thoughts are there is only one bike coming out a Revamped R15 with a slight price hike..

                no R125 (this is not coming to india in near future) no R14 (underpowered) or so....

                All the other specualtions are bound to happen whenever there is a new release
                A 15bhp- R15 news has come from a showroom guy.so might be true. Also the fact is there are many buyers who like R15 but cannot afford due to price and fuel efficiency(I was among the crowd 6 months back). A 15bhp machine would mean a slight increase in fuel average and a slight decrease in performance and price.

                We cannot be sure untill it is actually launched.


                @antz.bin : I agree with you on the [oint that rather than detunong R15, Yamaha should upgrade Fazer. That would really provide the buyers with Performance and effeiciency at an affordable price. Hope Yamaha guys are reading these posts.

                      Well, I am. If a 14 bhp bike can excel in Europe, why cant a 15 bhp one do in India..?
                      Atleast, I will be there to buy one. (current one is out of reach)

                      Sigh...!! All hopes in vain.. A 15bhp R15 will never make it to Indian roads, atleast for now..

                                i know this might look ridiculous to most of the readers in this thread and i know too that this talk has been put to rest.. but the spy images(alloys, tail piece) and now the 15bhp talk makes me think that it really might be a r125 out there for Jan release and not r15..
