        • according to bike india , this is just a cosmetic mod ,there is no change in cubic capacity(not said anything about power) and also there wont be any change in pricing too.

Well atleast we are getting a better looking YZF-R15 than its previous model! And that too in the same price!
Something is better than nothing, isn't it? :-):-)

Btw if its a facelift model then wont the 'lord of corners' loose a bit of its cornering ability??

From what I could make out, BIKE india ripped off the same spy pic, that was first taken by an xBHP member and posted on the R15 forum. I don't see how they would know more about the engine/cubic-capacity of the bike unless they got official word from someone (which the didn't mention). Also, most of that article on the new R15 seemed to have been taken from this forum I wouldn't rely on them completely

they didn't. he sent them a pic without a watermark.

they used it with his permission. he was given credit for the pic too.

oh, didn't know that. I retract my remarks But they couldn't have possibly got the engine details from an official source, could they?

                        • I think our Indian companies lack good market research tools, mid 2010 most of the companies are of the opinion that India not ready for 250.s. Suddenly Kawasaki steps in followed by Honda, now Yamaha is also on its way ? Anyway the industry and the biking community are benefitted for sure. 2011 is going to be once special year

this means the person at the showroom agreed to a new launch.. and did he say that you'll get the new bike..?? or what exactly did he say..??
If that is the case, then i'll also go and book "the r15" tomorrow..
