i think it should be 200-250 cc range...on of our dealer told me that yamaha is planning for higher segment 250's level as it's future in india is bright and also to keep pace with other companies.
    wait & watch

            guys.

This is certainly not the R125. All yamaha R series leaving the R15 has made a mark for themselves in the internaional market. i'm talking about the R125, R6 and the R1. its just the R15 which has yet to make it as an indian export 1st!. the current R15 was too incomplete looking to go international. Looking at the spy pics, i certainly have a gut feeling that this one promises to be a complete R15. Wud also certainly like to see it an India first export and permanently filling in the gap of the R125 and the R6. Cheers!!!!

it is the new r15.r15 sales are at a halt for the moment.they are launching this one with some changes. hope they dont reduce the performance with the extra weight.

It certainly looks like the new R15. moreover the halt in the sale of the current R15 says it all. Cant wait to see it hit the showrooms. moreover, the front disc is on the right just like the current one. the fairing doesnt cover up the gearbox just like the current one. the only odd bit in the current model just like the guys said has to the be the rear tyre hugging mudguard which in my opinion looks like a detachable one

hope they include some stuff from the performance kit..but that would skyrocket the price

The rear tyre looks the same to me its just that they've lifted the rear seat and changed its look which makes the tyre jutt out, hence the bigger look! It looks like a mere Facelift to me as well considering the same discs up front and back

spilit seats and L.E.D tail lamps are a welcome addition. The tyres seem like 120 to me. R125 style alloys look good too. One can expect slight power increase. But after seeing Yamaha bikes like Fazer, FZ, FZ-S, FZ- Midnight edition, FZ-Limited edition and blah blah, i dont expect any power increase. Just same wine in new bottle. But i love surprises .

Yamaha has already launched many 150cc (various versions of FZ, R15, SZ etc) in past 2-3 years!
My heart says its a new bike... May be a R20 or R25!

so many guys dont seem to like the tyre hugger. come on guys it is no big deal. it can easily be removed. you know the first thing i did after i bought my 15 was ti remove the saree guard. after all this is not a dirt bike or some thing to sport such huge tyre huggers.

                                registered ??

did you notice that this bike is registered ?
temp testing plates are red in colour. So does this mean that it is an existing model ?
a new model needs paper work to be registered right ? all govt certified testing and all.
                                so ???
                                just random thoughts guys..
