    I hope this turns out to be an R25 as I don't think only 20cc & 4 bhp increment is enough to convince current R15 owners to sell their rides. If its an R25 then it should churn out more then 26bhp as I don't want any CBR250 to overtake me especially when I'm in a bad mood

        After seeing this I had put my CBR plans on hold. If it is R25 definitely a go along side with my R15.

              Seems to be a clear case of viral marketing despite Pravu's claims otherwise. Yamaha look to be trying to make a dent on the CBR juggernaut with the release of this picture. And Honda seems to be lending a helping hand with their initial quality issues

                    By the way what I have observed is that everyone is quite appreciative about the new R15 whether they have booked/bought the CBR or any other bike so this seems to be a winner in Yamaha's stable, just need to know when it is going to be launched.

                      The reason is:
                      Yam would not like its R15 sales to be stopped. And there is CBR250 already in market to compete.
                      If its really a R25, then CBR250 is going to have a tough time.

                        Whether or not they are the same engine the upgrades are not 'just' cosmetic.
                        It has a new swingarm, new rims, and a probable change in the chassis.... With the change in swingarm, I would love to see the monoshock and scout for changes....
                        Early days, but whatever it is... Its bit more than 'just' cosmetic upgrades...


                        Ps: existing owners have been spoilt by Yamaha... Everyne wants freebies from them after getting a decent number or free upgrades!

                              If you got any concrete info with proof, then please share with us. Else why add more to the confusion about the new Yamaha and make this forum a cluttered place, difficult for the first time visitor to browse.

                              Your sensational claims won't help anyone unless you work for Yamaha PR.

                              Way back in 2008, everybody from reputed auto publications, sites to almost every blogger with some free time were claiming that the R15 would make 21-22 Ps. If there is some upgrade this time, it well and good. But there is absolutely no use in making claims / breaking news with no concrete proof.

                                That is exactly what we all wanted to see when they launched the R15 back in 08
                                Now this kinda puts me in a huge dilemma!

                                Judging by the pics its still the 150cc mil but damn this thing looks much better
