@saj , That Tire hugger,,, thats what i've been thinking too. but is there a rule to cover the whole tire? I think its there bcoz that rear fender is too narrow to block any mud dirt etc by itself . Yamaha definitly dont want people to blame yamaha for ruining their new shirt .everybody dies, but not everyone LIVES...

@reaper: yup as far as i know there is some rule that the rear tire should be covered to a certain extent, so that the mud/dirt is blocked.
that is the same reason why pulsar 135 ls came with the ugly rear hugger!!
so i don't think anyone will install that ugly thing on a bike! even if they do, it may not extend all the way to the back. so i feel it is company installed and hence it is definitely a new face-lifted R15 (i hope i am not wrong
)

A very strong point. I haven't seen one biker liking the rear tyre fender of P135. Although, only some of them have removed it on their P135.Originally posted by Binoy View PostGood thought there

Another thought from my side. if that guy has modded his R15, why put that fugly rear tyre hugger(read: if that guy had spend some money in modding the bike), Anyone with a decent sense wouldn't do that...
My 2 cents: ITS THE NEW R15 FOR SURE...

It could be the R15 and not R125 as R125 has more extreme riding position. Moreover, even if we forget the R&D costs it still won't cost less compared to R15.
Why don't you guys don a light White-shirt-Blue-pant dress for some days, spot & stop him, pose as Traffic Cops, & ask about the number plate and then disappear with the info he gives?
Ok, maybe I'm too filmy... Apologies!

the way competition is heading, i expect this bike to fall in the same price range as the current R15, or may be a bit lesser only.
R15 is completely made in india? if yes then expect the prices to be very close to current model.

Guys, if you check carefully you can notice saree guard on the other side. Just look at the red area marked in the below pic. You will see the saree guard, a moded bike will never have a saree guard. This has to be a test bike.
Copy the pic to ur system and zoom in to check the area i have marked in blue.. Is it a 2nd cylinder of a V-Twin engine?
