i'd been to a Yamaha showroom today in the afternoon n when i asked the guys over there, they told me tht there is no such new "R" series bike that is gonna be out in the market anytime soon.
instead he told me that a 250cc R series machine would probably come out by next year. and when asked about the leaked photos, he said it might be for the next year.
and he also told me to go ahead with the existing R15 n there is no problem in doing so.
he told me the 250cc "R" would cost around 3 lacs
what to believe and what not to???

Dude, believe the SVC guys they know everything, they have equal knowledge to the R&D guys, they would never lie to you! Trust these guys as you would a politician, a lawyer or even a journalist! After all the same political family in power for the most of the last 64 years and our beloved country moves forward in a backward direction, lawyers defend Bollywood murderers and Pakistan terrorists etc. Journalists re-invent stories for self recognition or just for the sake of talking, why would the SVC guy be any different? BS is not in our blood, it's our way of life.

@all , i know an insider from yamaha and he said that yamaha was launching a 160cc 32 valve inline 8 , with 180mm rear tyre. Also, svc guy told me daytona will be offering nitro-boosters. I also heard somewhere that Joel has started designing an automatic laser gun and grenade launcher that will be direct fits to the exhuast and the headlamp assembly. I am just hoping it is priced under 1.25 lacs.
