Don't know about others, it surely would be mine. 160kph on a 150cc machine is going to be one hell of a feeling. Max speed I could ever manage was 147kph and never was able to repeat the same. If the top speed is 160kph, it should do 150 at will, even though with some stick.Originally posted by RanjithMN View PostI hope a clock is one among them!

R15 confirmed changes
- New Disc setup, New Disc plate,
- New Chain
- New Mag wheel
- New Valve springs
- Fully Cast swingarm
- FZ clutch assembly
- 47T - 15T sprockets
- Improved mileage
- New Fuel pump with removable filter
-The bike is about a KG lighter, and pumps about 19ps (estimated by the riders)
The top speed has been bumped by a good small 2 digit number.
-The bike has got changes into complex parts like its cams, the valves, the crankwheel, the clutch assy and even the wiring harness.
-The tyres are beefier but weight almost the same as the old ones. THe tyres are actually smaller profile one this time! However the RIMs have been reinforced.

However if the engine pumps out 19ps, will the bike still be able to show improvement in mileage?Wake up to Motorcycling!

Cant say Exactly..iam not a technical expert but practically if u see CBR250r its 250cc and 25bhp but gives 35kmpl so why not 150cc bike with 19ps gives 45-50kmpl?Originally posted by ab47 View PostWow the changes sound really nice.

Correct me if i am wrong anywhere.

Well friend, thank you for sharing the information. Hope you are correct. Logically speaking, you are correct with the concept of CBR giving mileage of 35 so why not R15 will give 45...Originally posted by Azet View PostCant say Exactly..iam not a technical expert but practically if u see CBR250r its 250cc and 25bhp but gives 35kmpl so why not 150cc bike with 19ps gives 45-50kmpl?

Well the thing is, mileage is also dependent upon the kind of engine one machine has. Such as R15 has a high revving engine, it means that you can only get a good mileage if you ride at less than 5.5k - 6k RPM band.
I haven't got anything better than 40 in terms of mileage from mine as I always rev it beyond 6k RPM.
So, you are correct upto a certain extent but not completely.

You can also add a revised cyl-head to your list. Confirmed these today from my Dealer in Mangalore and the SVC head who recently came back from the training session. Also found out that our dealer is flying to Delhi tomorrow for the launch on 6thOriginally posted by Azet View PostR15 confirmed changes

Not sure about the HP or weight yet but the price is said to be around 1.23L OTR in Mangalore, 5K more than the current bike and 20 bookings done here already
The top speed has been bumped by a good small 2 digit number.
If the gearbox ratios haven't been revised then this bike will be slower than the current bikes by atleast 6 kph in top gear but I was told that the internal ratios are revised but I prefer to confirm this once I get hold of its spec sheet/manual
-The bike has got changes into complex parts like its cams, the valves, the crankwheel, the clutch assy and even the wiring harness.
Was communicated exactly the same today

130 rear section confirmed, front 90/90 is a possibility
Can't wait for the bike to be launched on 6th and put an end to all speculations.--------------------------------

Hey guys,
Is public allowed in Le Meridian on 6th or just press?Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead.
