Firstly they were going to launch entire new pulsar range (except P135) in Diwali of 2010 and later they pushed it to end of 2010. From what I reckon, Bajaj had developed new UG on their own but at last minute it was scrapped and they opt to use KTM parts for engine etc,. The whole thing was then postponed to late Q2 2011. But 2011 Monsoon came without pulsars. After the summer Mr. Bajaj said year end is the deadline.

Meanwhile they were going to bring KTM Race 125 and KTM Stunt 125 - completely distinctive products in 2012. But again it was scrapped and duke 125 was born. Now we are getting duke 200 here.

A lot has changed. ^These were the top senior officials' words and news reports. I won't be surprised (but sad) if they push the launch even further.

PS. KTM stunt 125 is even hotter than duke 125/200. I'm hoping to see new duke in a similar color theme.

Would like to see some source where these news had appeared.

I have been following them with great interest and know very well that all these were baseless "breaking news" / "you read it here first" kinda stuff.

Browse the news section in very deep. I have posted one or two threads on this alone.

Basically, these top officials managers, regional managers etc, go here and there for events like inauguration of new showroom etc, and spill out some beans in their speeches. Which then make it to the small one column news in regional newspapers in economics section. I have came across 4 to 6 of such articles in 12 months. Bajaj is in vicinity. I had posted sources too. I really can't go find all remaining original sources. You know, search engines don't index newspapers.

Anyway, I wasn't disagreeing with your original post. I know, how some websites post rubbish just to attract traffic. Aug-Sep-oct launch dates were nothing but something that was pulled out of thin air. Basically Average Indian web reader is yet to mature. He dumbly entertains anything at first glance. But off course you know this already.

Common man, go through the pages of this thread.. The bike has been spied in INDIA with MRF tyres... The one you have shown is not in India. hence Metzeler is used .. Got it..??

                      • Even here in Singapore, Duke 125 comes with MRF as stock tyre
No matter what marque you ride, it's all the same wind.
