    I went to the Bajaj company outlet in Pune.[sold my 220] Enquired about KTM 390 Duke. They said the price will be Rs. 2.25 Lacs.

    [Edit:I am not interested in KTM street bikes. And not buying one.]

        The faired version (not sure) but going to be launched in mid 2013 may be by july-august....just waiting for correct information.....

          There is a faired bike at Bajaj test track. But there is some confusion about it being a Pulsar or KTM. Also Bajaj has doubts releasing the faired KTM. As it will kill the Ninja 300.

          Initial test reports of the KTM 390 Duke are coming in. And people are simply blown away!! Wheelie maniac!

                Agreed..!! Interesting situation as both belong to Bajaj.. Let's see which card opens up in future.

                    I don't think Bajaj is going to worry about Ninja much. Bajaj owns big slice of KTM where as it merely is in a marketing tie up with Kawasaki. If you think about it, more KTM grows the less Bajaj requires Kawasaki.

                      Bajaj uses Kawasaki's dealership network the world over, especially in south america and Africa to directly take on the other jap companies. Don't underestimate the importance of Kawasaki for bajaj, considering that exports is an important chunk of sale for bajaj.

                          KTM Duke 390 release plan leaked for USA

                          The BARF (Bay Area Riders Forum) in US had someone post a mobile phone shot of a dealer conference with a PPT slide showing KTM DUKE 390 amongst other 2013 models. Going by the reactions from the members this was supposed to be under wraps. Going by the discussion there someone will be taking the brunt of this leak. However it shows how important this model is, not only for India, but around the world. Bajaj did sure make a fantastic decision in investing in KTM, and did even bette to go for models like 200 and 390.

                                We should think for the launch of Duke 390 over touring version. Hopefully in 2013 Duke200 with ABS also launched.

                                Does this means with growing KTM in India, Kawasaki chances of wash out or break up are downlined?? Then is it gona be like Mahindra and Renault break up...
