Cold start!! no big deal , fueling at high altitudes, yes, Electronic fuel injection is definitely handy.

Is this thread a market research by/for Bajaj?

Some of the latest reports suggest that it's the 200SS, not the NS that is likely to get fuel injection. In many ways, that makes a lot more sense too. A faired bike is more likely to be used as a tourer and the buyers are more likely to spend that extra bit of cash on a faired bike than on the NS, though I hope they (Bajaj) don't do it.

In the interest of the readers who will go through these pages in the future, I'm posting something OT yet significant to the discussion that took place. Some diesel engines in the past did have carburetors. Most of them were small. There were some models that started on petrol and then ran on diesel as the engine warmed up. They were extremely complicated. Electronic Direct Fuel Injection changed everything and all diesel engines today use it.

Bajaj Pulsar 200NS gets fuel injection

I'm kind of confused about this, we all saw the spy picks on Rushlane about that fuel injected Pulsar 200NS. Now I just noticed on the Bajaj site for Turkey displaying a Pulsar 200NS FI bike. Here's the link Bajaj Pulsar 200NS FI | Pulsar 200NS FI DTSi
In the specifications page here Bajaj Pulsar 200NS FI Specifications | Pulsar 200NS FI Technical Specifications it clearly says that it is fuel injected.
So how long we will have to wait to get the fuel injected 200NS in India?

There are Pulsar 200NS with FI in the market now. Sadly, no sound of ABS.

Bajaj tried this FI in there 220 also, but that proved to be an nightmare for bajaj ,there service centres didn't knew anything about this technologically advance part, so they reverted to carburettors,this time i believe they have up there sleeves with the help of Ktm.

Though it is news that BAL's Turkey site has NS Fi mentioned, I'm still not 100% sure if we should have a separate thread for the same because http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/250...xbhp-news.html (this very thread) talks about the very same thing for India.

Maybe they are using the old pictures taken after the new color scheme was launched since it takes a lot of work to professionally photograph vehicles. I remember the Bajaj site showed the old 200NS pictures for a few days after the new color scheme was launched.

Wait guys, I just noticed, Bajaj guys is editing the website, the wording is different from what I saw when I visited the site yesterday night. We had a storm here, and power just came. Previously it was showing the specs as the old carburetor fueled 200NS. Now it lists the power as 24 Ps, about half hp bump in power.
