Yeah, head cover is different, but there are still 3 spark plugs

The FI unit does not look same to me, but only time will tell. The Duke had a BOSCH ME17.9.8 TC1762 under the hood if I'm not mistaken.

Now waiting for ABS, wifey does not approve of me buying a bike without ABS.

Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS FI appears on website, launch nears

Now along with this news Bajaj has announced that the Pulsar Mania is back.They are organising the Pulsar Mania Week and Pulsar Carnival in Mumbai to raise the adrenaline among bikers from Wednesday June 25, 2014.The celebration will go on till the 29^th and will end with a Pulsar Carnival on the same day.
Is it possible they will be launching the new bikes on the last day??

Lets hope so!! Cant wait now!

No fuel thingie on the Turkish version. Some other minor differences, too. I'm going to take some photos tomorrow and post here

Okay, here are the photos:

No fuel tap, no center stand and no saree guard, although you can occasionally see ladies sitting sideways
on the pillion seat here too.

The switch on the right-side handlebar is canceled. The headlight is always on on the Turkish version.
By the way, mirrors look funny because I used mirror risers heheh

This device was placed over the battery.

Now, I know you would like to see a review but this is my first bike with fuel injection. I don't consider
myself an experienced-enough rider to do reviews. All I can say is it feels okay

If I had ridden a carburetor-Pulsar, I could have talked about the differences I'd felt, but that's not the case.

It has not been released in Indonesia. The blogger is talking about the Turkish 200NS.

It would be very great if Bajaj lightens the weight of NS by removing some unnecessary parts or by changing the Steel Chassis by some light weight chassis along with installing FI and ABS...
No matter of what cost it would be; it would be cheaper in comparison to Rs 1.55 lakh price of KTM DUKE 200...

Anybody has any Clues When the F I Variant is getting launched ?

Having failed to convince myself on buying a Inazuma ( Price Factor ) and RE ( quality Issue's ), With no option from Yamaha in 200CC Segment or above & Honda Not ready to give me test ride for a CBR ( Premium Bike Saar / nobody cares for you in showroom ), I am Getting more and more inclined towards 200 NS and She is slowly growing on me. Since I plan to put a end of my dilemma by Diwali End . Hopefully I will get to see FI version by that time.

PS : - Wondering why Bajaj has not launched FI version yet in India when it;s already available in over seas market. Ideally they should have launched FI in home market first . Typically that's what we see with Other OEM;s .

Another question to Techies - What;s the Diff Between F I and Non F I version and I assume F I is better ?

Maybe it will be launched with a slight increase in power. Turkey seems to have got Fi but with same power output. Maybe here it will have the same power as 200ss.....about 1-2 bhp more. This is just my opinion.. No official confirmation

Launching Fi with a price hike is not a viable option .
We have a lot of other Fi super flops like apache glamour stunner .
So its better to bring the SS with Fi.

If they launch by Year end, that;s going to be a bummer for me. I am planning for this diwali .

I Won;t mind paying more for better technology but than not everyone thinks like that.

By paying Rs. 10,000 more you don't have to deal cold starts in winters. That's all FI is on a 200 cc bike.
