No one is questioning the Rd's status or its performance or anything. You introduced the big daddy and started comparing its weight figure with the 200 ns, that was very immature on your part. If you know bikes so well, which I know you do then you shouldn't have compared them in the first place. Both of them belong to a totally different category and have been designed keeping in my a particular set of audience.
Yesterday you deleted the post that if I think rd does not have the tech of the duke or would perform better given a fi then I should let it be.
Well, sorry if I hurt someone here but rd was not at all about technology and I would still say an fi would make it even better in terms of power or responsiveness.

Finally, I am out of this discussion.

      Shout or cry???? seriously??

You are unable to understand a statement in the sense it was made, bringing a deleted post in to context and you are telling me to not take things seriously and calling me immature? I understand one thing. It was not immature but foolish to make an observation in this forum where people jump to conclusions.

I just made an observation that a bigger more powerful bike with a heavy engine and heavy body parts is lighter than a smaller engined bike. The point was bajaj needs to shed weight of a fully faired bike. It was not a technical discussion. Read satelite kid's post if you are still not getting it.

If you are unable to understand the intent of the post then feel free to ask.

Someone told Bajaj officials are on XBHP....
If its true, then I plead Bajaj, Please lower the handle bar. Or you can provide with height adjustable bars. P200 NS sitting is too upright, something like P220 would do fine. Perfect blend between sporty and comfortable ride.

Bajaj lacks experience in making a good, balanced, light weight chassis. They will learn in time. I had a conversation with a bajaj engineer after i bought my 220. I asked him how come bajaj never changed the chassis for the 220 and made it lighter? He replied that it works fine. Why change it? just make it heavier for the bigger engine. So if this was or is the attitude of bajaj, then they need to change it. They may offer a vfm package, but without a propper chassis it would all go for a toss, because no matter how much I hate the debate for "track" handling, I would still like to see a nimble and flickable bike.

Wow that was a long senence..

For your very first para, RD350 was a 2S as compared to P220, RD350 had less instrumental console in comparison with the P220, RD350 has spoke wheels in comparison with the Mag Wheels of P220, RD350 sports a naked head lamp in comparison with the Semi Fairing of the P220, and one more thing Sir ji at that time bike didn't used to have a battery, but in our very modern era every single bike does have those.

              So, think before comparing.

Really??? rd didnt have a battery??
Wow, i wonder how its full dc electrical system worked without one!!!! Here is a thought... Get some information before you comment.

I made the odservation based on the fact that both bikes use a twin down tube double cradle frame and somewhat heavy engines.

Whats with this cat fight over technology ? You either like a product and use it, or you don't..!! Its as simple as that..
even a puny cd100 has technology that a 1950-60 bike could dream about.. Everything changes with time.. You can't go on using a rjdot for 100years.. You have to adopt what time gives you.. If you don't like it.. Then its all the presonal choice..
this the thread is about the leaks/guesses/or anything related to Pulsar 350/375, wherever they would call it.. So stick t that and don't fight over 'technology'

                  Ride safe and have fun.

Can we please stop getting sentimental over the *weight* comparison between RD and 220/200 or whatever? It was just a simple comparison for god's sake, but some members are loading the gun like it was a personal insult!! RD350 was a legend, so let it be a legend. Fortunately or unfortunately, it's time is long gone whether some one likes this fact or not.

Let's continue to *speculate* about the P375 please!!

It is very sad to see people taking a passing comment and turning it in to a fight. I have already mentioned that I am sorry for bringing the legend in to this stupid discussion.

However, It is also sad to see people who call themselves "passionate bikers" do not even know or understand the history of the bikes in their country nor have any interest in learning from it but are ready to comment on something they do not have first hand knowledge of.

                      I understand the point.

Seriously.. this was just about weight and now it has gone till features.. My God.. Chillax guys.. lets be bikers first and respect each and every bike out there..

OT.. i always had a thought that the alloy wheels are lighter in weight as compared with the spoke wheels.. How Ignorant had i been all these days..

Lets give it up guys.. these days all metal bike is nearly impossible to see unless its the legend RD350.. and regarding the weight reduction.. I don't think that is even required.. the pulsars as far as I know (My Personal Opinion) are not that great in terms of control.. i have lost control of pulsar many times and after i ride a Pulsar.. if I ride a Karizma or the Hunk.. I find the stability better on Karizma/hunk.. So reducing the weight or changing the chassis can actually help Pulsar to dominate on tracks too..

We have to wait and see on how the new P375 is.. they might have reduced the weight on something to balance out the weight from the heavy looking fairing..

                        Cheers..

If this is what the Pulsar 375 is gonna look like, then all I'll say is it is a ditto copy of the Energica Concept Bike unless bajaj somehow paid to own the concept design.

                          More pics here: https://www.google.co.in/search?q=En...w=1920&bih=970

The similarities are just too many to ignore. Or Maybe we have all been fooled to think that this was the 375 when the spy pics were of the Energica
That would be an epic pawning of all of us

Dude you were comparing those bike on the basis of their respective chassis. I think you should go better do your homework before passing comments like those.

Is Chassis is the sole criteria to decide the net weight? Answer is NO, the over all bike dimension contributes to the net weight, and chassis is one of them. and ek battery ko leh kar you arguing, where are the rest of the points which I quoted, don't you have to comment on those.

Dude nobody is turning that discussion into a fight. I commented solely based upon your comments on the bike which you made it here. If you are thinking in such a manner, then its your problem. No doubt RD is a legend in Indian biking history, but you were the one who started comparing it.

And don't judge people when you don't know them. Its always good for us to know the person first and then comment upon them. So we should better check ourselves that what we have said earlier and then should comment. or rahi biking history janane ki, then you don't know any one here, that who knows how much. We can be very sure that its not the rc 390 by looking at the tank and speedo console. They have been borrowed from the 200 ns. And no way the rc 390 is going to use them.
Regarding the colors, they are all the colors the 200 ns comes in, another proof that the bike is a pulsar and most probably the bike won't come this colorful. Its only to check the shades I guess.
