Are you serious? Are you joking? If that was the case, why less CBR150s than R15? R15 is the best in its segment..

Smoothest as well. Offers pretty decent Average as compared to other high revving engines. May not be the best but not the worst either.

        +1 to above.
R15 is the best selling bike in its segment, it has always been; since its launch. CBR150R doesn't even come close to the R15 if we compare the sales numbers.
And being an owner of a 3 year old V2. I'd still buy a R15 rather than the Pulsar RS200. A small ride on the RS200 is enough to show you why a 200 CC Bajaj is cheaper than the 150cc Yamaha. The vibrations and fairing rattle even on the showroom fresh piece is enough to put people off.
There are people who will always spend a little extra to get the desired quality. The fact that R15 is still selling like hot cakes even 8 years after its launch is a proof of it.

The front resembles the new R6. The headlamps on the R15 look like the DRLs on the R6.
The USDs and whatever other improvements are there will push up prices to close to the duke 200 OTR? Yamaha needs to price it good.

            Correct.

The pricing of the V3 would most probably be on the higher side of D200. ( Yamaha never impressed the masses with pricing )
With the news of the bigger FZ i was hoping that the R15 and the Fazer would also be getting power upgrades.
But for some reason the CC's remain the same

            Love the front look though.

Thats what i said its a niche segment which will buy the overpriced R15...Its not worth the money and the quality your are harping about...for the price they are demanding hell they have to give quality else the small percentage of customer will also dump yahama...Pulsar 200ns and Apache 200 can beat the hrll out of Puny R15 all day long.. And regarding vibration yamaha is not smooth...

Looks like we have a Yamaha hater here.
Again, let me ask, whats the proof you have to say Yamaha quality is bad.

And do you know apple and orange are different fruits, or you being apple hater, will term apple as a vegetable?

So you mean to say, if they decrease the price they should decrease the quality too, so that customer comes back post every 500kms with new issues?
Tell me you have not started enjoying new years eve from today !!!!

                        How is it a loot?

If R15 is a loot, then what do you say about CBR150? Have you seen the quality of the switch gears? Have you seen how it so resembles it's elder sibling? That they didnt have to spend any extra penny on to actually make the spare parts? Despite of saving so much money of designing, they charge a premium..

Tell me you dont understand economics of an automobile manufacturer.

P.S I am still waiting for proofs for your hatred / bad mouthing.

P.P.S I wont be amazed if you get "triggered" if someone says Bajaj is as bad as you think Yamaha is [emoji48]

hahahaha Bajaj and TVS are VFM proposition... Look at NS and RTR both are VFM and can beat R15 even after charging a bomb.

And there aren't many R15's with engine leaking like bajaj and TVS bikes. So much for their VRM proposition.. haha..

Power and speed aren't the only thing a customer considers.

                              Ride safe and have fun.

I have a R15 V1 and have done pretty decent touring on mine and in all these years it has never ever even once let me down.. the quality has always been top notch compared to the viby ktms or pulsars.. and yes i have driven quite a few bikes from all the stables.. yes honda does feel a bit smoother but its nothing drastic imo.. i have been left stuck with a jammed brake line on a equally maintained pulsar so i dont think so if i am wrong in judging bajaj over the relatively poor quality of parts used.. but still i have never met an R15 owner with complaints if he treated his bike with due respect and love..
