I personally have one small complaint and it is about the pillion seat. Similar like R15 v2.0, monkey sitting on a pole stance.. Wished it could be little lower without giving much height to the pillion. I know it looks sporty but it doesnt seem comfortable.

Still overall I will say that it seems to be a very good bike. I hope the pricing will be done on the lower side so that it can take on RC 390.

Exactly. The pillion seat could've been a little less. It's very uncomfortable for a pillion rider to seat on a R15 v 2.0.
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

There's a difference in the power output and also the torque figures. I guess the website will be correct to refer to.

        YES, YAMAHA!

The on-road version does not resemble the prototype, but that's what it was supposed to be.... - I mean, how can you possibly expect your bunty & babli to ride the M1 replica used by VR (Valentino Rossi, mind it!) on busy streets, especially of countries like Indonesia, India and likes. And track days aren't common either. Considering such factors, along-with the growing population of enthusiasts; I feel that their design is unmistakably perfect. Ninja sold nonetheless.

No comment on the power figures and exhaust note

          Yeah, nice observation .
How could it be different or they are so careless to publish the different specification on same website.

As per the website, the power is 27.2 KW at 12K rpm which equals to 37ps(so bump in 1 ps).
Also the Battery power is different.

Although the difference is very minor, but still there has to be specific one to refer.

            Updated the specs.

Finally i see a few guys looking at the positives. I am already planning to change the colour combos started with designs

i still feel pricing will be around 2.5L - 2.7L on road. i know for a fact that it wont go above that. if proven wrong i will still buy it

The red one with side fairing of the black would be good I guess.

I had ninja set in my mind. But high cost of spares and ownership was playing a spoilsport. Now this has definitely swinged my mind. If the cost of ownership is reasonable and even if it costs ~3 lac I will consider it.

Re: Yamaha R25 Launched in Indonesia

Now lets talk about launch date in India
It would be around Diwali time. Oct/November would be it.

As for ownership costs, Yamaha spares are reasonably priced, nor too low nor too high.

                      The black one looks awesome.

                      Ride safe and have fun.

yes even i share the same thought. frankly i cannot buy a ninja300 right away and neither i can buy the r25 right away. the ninja300 was the perfect upgrade after riding the r15. one of the YRC member has both ninja300 and r15v2. he recently got the ninja300 (2nd hand) and he said the same. if there were no rumors of r25, i would have got ninja300 in next 2 years. (why not the RC390 ? i feel ninja300 would also satisfy my need of touring which i doubt the rc can do) i just hope r25 does not give that big hole in my pocket its already won in the specs sheet.

Bro same here. Till last month I was thinking to go for N300 as I was really upset with Yamaha for not launching the R25, though I love Yamaha brand more than any brand else. But R25 launch has made me to go back to the original thought of sticking to Yamaha always. And also the riding stance of R25, looking like a sports-tourer, has more attracted me. Cause doing the Pune-Bangalore stretch in my R15 is not that much comfortable, though I have done it twice already this year and R15 is undoubtedly the best bike in 150cc segment and a master creation from Yamaha (strange fact that R15, even though a 150cc engine, never gets tired even when you cruise above 120 kmph for 2-3 hours. ). So R25 and N300, both being sports-tourer best suit my needs, as I love to tour around and R25 being a Yamaha is undoubtedly the winner.
