Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Launched Globally: xBhp News
globally yamaha now understand the logic of numbers more than margins.
The FZ/MT 09/07 are a proof of this new strategy. They really want to make inroads with great affordable packages. If they follow that same principle, then
I am sure they are not going to price it out of contention which to me is <=3 lacs. Anything north of that, the duke/RC still rules. The hero always RIDES into the sunset!

How come they don't make all blue yammies like R15 (V1) and some V2 anymore? This Blue-Silver variant looks yuck. The black looks killer though. There's a light at each end of this tunnel you shout cause you're just as far in as you'll ever be out.

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Launched Globally: xBhp News
I agree,,, However, i have always had not such a strong liking towards all black bikes, reason being - all parts get camouflaged with each other. For instance, it's difficult to distinguish engine from the fairing and plastic parts from the metallic ones, from a distance.Originally posted by nagoo View PostThere is none, by default R3 blue will always comes with Blue Rims

Color and design , is of course a matter of personal choice, always ! For instance I have been driving a Yellow RTR(with a yellow helmet) for more than 8 years now, and proudly... Some, find it odd,,, Dunno why !
But yeah, having said that ! I do love the All black R3, not more than the Silver/While blue though, but do love it !

Moreover, if it is expected in 10 days hence,,, maybe the dealer has placed an order for a few bikes with the company. I have friend who is a TVS showroom owner, he once told me they place orders approximately 1 month in advance. So, if we are expecting the bike to be in the showrooms by 21st, then maybe they have placed an order already... !
If you talk to him once again, you may just quickly want to ask him if they have placed any order or if they will be placing or something of that sort... !
These guys generally sometimes play along with the hype created by the Company... and don't have full visibility themselves ! The TVS Dealer did the same with me for Apache RTR160.... I almost called all major dealers across India that time (8 years back), none of them had accurate info... Finally, 1 day somehow I got to talk to some senior official in their manufacturing plant who told, yes it's going to be launched soon and then the wait started....and after 3 months, Finally I got hold of 1 of the 1st 9 yellow APACHE RTR160's manufactured in India, and it was one of the 1st 3 delivered in NCR
However, hoping the Info that you got is true !
