    Honda's Rev Fest is done, which turned out to be a disappointment for most of us. All eyes on Yamaha now, lets hope they price it right.

      Even Yamaha is not going to bring any fun or excitement either. I am sure Yamaha R3 will also price it close to Ninja300. Making people thinking again over CBR250R or RC390 only.

        ^^ some how i have the same feeling tingling in now, if the price is very close to N300 then there will be only one option left in near future MOJO [don;t know the meaning of near future ]

          Disappointed after the Revfest. Looking forward to Revvstation.
          Was expecting a cbr 500r, but alas! Cbr 650f is way too expensive for me. If Yamaha prices it near n300 then even that will juz remain a dream. So the logical upgrade from dukes here in India is still the N650.

              I'm feeling like Yamaha will price it just like Benelli TNT 300, 2.8 ex-showroom, 3.5 on road (in Bangalore, the price of TNT300). Kawasaki have nothing but sport bikes. Yamaha is more well known around the country.

              I hope recent N300 adopters won't be unhappy with their rides, because I feel N300 has the best looks from the 300cc lot.

              Also, I'm looking at a HD image of R3 and also imagining my D390 as R3. :< This feeling is frustration, sadness and anger.

                    OTR pricing around 3.5 lakhs.. And ABS is not even provided as optional. 😒

                      Called Yamaha Mumbai showroom... No bookings started as off today in Mumbai.

                      Conversation between me and showroom guy:

                      Me: Have you started taking the bookings of Yamaha R3?

                      Him: Sir is it R15 you mean?

                      Me: No R3 a 300cc yamaha which is supposed to be launched on 11th of this month.

                      Him: No as off now. My senior will have a better picture but he has not come today. But there is a new bike that will be coming.

                      Me: Any idea about its pricing?

                      Him: I am not sure but it will be around 3.7 to 3.8 showroom. The charts for on-road are not ready yet. There might be change in price. I am not sure.

                      So the conclusion is.... It is still hidden in shadows. Either the guy really knew nothing or he just pretended.

                        Actually motoroids site claims that some dealerships in Mumbai started accepting bookings for R3 . 😡😝 here in Chennai also no info about it..

                          R3 is coming in both ABS and nonABS version for India and getting MRF ZAPPER S 140/70-17 tyre segment.

                          Booking has started in Bangalore and most probably in YFS Pune.

                          Also in first lot only 200 bikes will come for India only that to selected cities and showrooms.
