With a backwards tilted engine with a front placed intake, it also achieves better combustion efficiency. It also has a counterbalance shaft in front of the shaft for vibe control.

The DUKE 390 is at 89 mm to 60 mm with bore to stroke of 1.48 or Duke 200 at 72 mm to 49 mm with a bore to stroke of 1.47 ... its BMW not a true 'short stroke'. The Dukes will have a not so good CE and hence putter the way they do.

The note if you try to hear better is more mechanical than the putter of the Dukes.

    As OT ....
Now there are a lot of factors ... piston speed, weight, intake, outflow ... *my head hurts now*

In person the bike looks really good...its quite muscular and beefy..and attention to details is quite precise.

If you visit a thread of any upcoming bike here, you will get the same response, so I dont think its hyped.

I'm not trying to start a debate here, but for me Duke is not a practical bike and definitely not premium :P

Yes, TNT 25 can be considered. But, NO ABS..

It could be practical but doesn't that depend on the pricing? Only if they manage to price it under D390.. Otherwise I am not sure.. And besides, let it hit the roads mate before coming to a conclusion

That's also true.. Hopefully it will live up to the expectations if they don't do cost cutting on equipments for our market..
