Re: BMW's 313cc G310 R
Hello, If I may kausarayub, where did you get this information from? did you see a TVS logo on the spied version? I am sorry I cannot seem to find the logo.Originally posted by kausarayub View PostBMW G310R spied on test again, launch by October 2016
The bike will have both BMW and TVS logo and thedesi variant will have some modificationstoo (cost cutting probably) *facepalm*
IMO, the black and white combination looks mean and classy. Blue looks too discover-ish. From the recent spy-shots that has surfaced recently of the 2017 Duke390, this bike seems to plain. I guess BMW badge will primarily drive the sales.
I happen to see few Chris Northover's videos which are officially released by BMW yesterday. just to check out the exhaust note. IMO, it had remarkable resemblance to current Duke series exhaust note.
Peace!

No, I cannot see the TVS logo, but the person who has taken/uploaded the video claims that. Or maybe that can be only on the test model.Originally posted by drive_angry;1236498Hello, If I maykausarayub , where did you get this information from?did you see a TVS logo on the spied version? [QUOTE=kausarayub;1236547]Yeah, but don't expect them to shock you like Bajaj did with D390. Plan for 3L if not more.Originally posted by chiragsthakur;1236543[ATTACH] 213430[ /ATTACH]

Awesome thats a reilef, can you ask them if there will any TVS branding on the bike. Most of us would simply hate that.
[QUOTE=sparky;1236617]Yes, I agree with you on that Sparky. expect it to be priced about BN302.Originally posted by kausarayub View Post

Re: BMW's 313cc G310 R
I don't think it will be priced above 2.5L. I expect it to be less than 2.5L actually. Reasons:
Single Cylinder
Manufactured in INDIA by TVS
Already cheaper than D390 in Europe
And if they still price it around 3L, BMW will be counting the units sold per month on their fingers.

Well, they may not care much for India numbers since it is primarily meant for asian market and will be exported.Originally posted by kausarayub View PostI don't think it will be priced above 2.5L. I expect it to be less than 2.5L actually. Reasons:

Re: BMW's 313cc G310 R
You might be right there but like I guess, BMW 'Premium' image would be the primary driver of the sales in India. Folks who cannot afford BMW/luxury cars (or liter bikes) will satisfy their urge by owning this bike.Originally posted by kausarayub View PostI don't think it will be priced above 2.5L. Anyone has confirmation as to how are they are going to sell these bike. I am sure that they are not going to use TVS outlets.
Peace!

Absolutely man, because not many would buy the G310R if they are getting the Ktm RC 390 for 50k cheaper with all class leading equipment and the fun the KTM providesOriginally posted by kausarayub View PostI don't think it will be priced above 2.5L. Re: BMW's 313cc G310 R
I really dont get the discussion. Why come and compare this to KTM when its still not launched? Depends upon personal choices. One guy can spend 1.5L and get a Duke 200, other might get a bullet 350 in that price. So does it mean that Duke 200 doesn't do well in the market? Does it mean bullet has less no of takers?
And just for sake of 'FUN', I can say my 150cc bike which is priced at 1.3L also provides me 'FUN'.
We need to understand one thing, every bike can be different for different people.Originally posted by Suraj200 View PostAbsolutely man, because not many would buy the G310R if they are getting the Ktm RC 390 for 50k cheaper with all class leading equipment and the fun the KTM providesYamaha RX135 (1998) - Stolen
