next time , buy an Iphone 6s and alongwith that a chinese copy of iphone because as per you Chinese Iphone will be superior.

Hope you ride a BMW someday soon and then hop on to Bajaj, and you will see why the price tag

Just wait till the launch happens, we will all know who's stupid.

You are crazy mate. Comparing TVS with BMW. TVS built quality is better when compared to Bajaj.. moreover. There is no replacement for displacement..

Not to forget, that 145 kmph is speedo indicated..

Apart from that, P220 cannot do 145kmph the entire day and the engine will die

I just gave you a comparo and you are still in denial. Good job
You are not quite getting my argument. You have thrown across few points of which only 2 are related to performance and even it that were true then I am saying it cannot command a 1.25L premium over P220. And you are also speculating about on road performance, aren't you? Have you ridden the bike?
And who are you kidding, it is made by TVS.

Ok bro. You win. Now can we stop ranting and get back to healthy conversation please? Moreover I think you fail to understand that
"Designed by BMW in Germany, made/Assembled in India in TVS factory"

              And not

"Designed in India by TVS, made in India TVS".

I hope you've done your research of how BMW S1000RR was a revelation in the litre class segment when it came out?!
Also, there is something called the "power". The Yamaha R1 reaches 100kmph, so does your Pulsar 220. But the time taken to reach differs right? Or you'll still want to prove otherwise?

I hope you understand there is no comparison between these two bikes of different segments. The BMW Engineered product will anyday have more value and attention that all the Bajaj products combined.

Every bike manufacturer falters, the finished product once out in the market presents new unforeseen issues...BMW is no exception to that. Kindly google, even the famed s1000rr has blown engine, fried electricals, faulty clutch assembly issues and even the bikes were recalled.. don't be biased just for the sake of brand affinity. I know, the word BMW in India has divine following and fanboyism associated with it. Let's wait for G310r, see it for initial 1year of ownership and then decide about performance and reliability. At present, there is nothing in the market that comes even close to the KTM twins, in performance and pricing. Hope TVS-BMW changes this scenario. No matter what others may think, it is KTM Bajaj that revolutionised the biking scene in India for better. Pricing alone will make or break this product, coz the category in which it is being launched is no longer a niche.

My friend. you are right. every new product has unforeseen issues and BMW isn't an exception. But then, before even the bike is out in the markets, we cannot comment on the bike and compare it with P220?

going by what he says, why would people spend money on luxury cars like Merc, BMW, Audi when a Honda can do the same job?

Even the much praised R3 has its own set of issues for which all the bikes were recalled.

Funny thing is, the hard core Bajaj fans will hate the BMW and hard core TVS fans will hate KTM. Know, how to respect a bike, not the company. And BTW, This bike isnt totaly manufactured by TVS, but Bajaj has most of the control over KTM here in manufacturing.
Dont be a fan boy, enjoy every bike. Talking about performance, the D390 can beat the shit out of R3, but the smoothness and feel of the Yam has no match. Its depends on you, what you want.

I own rc390 as of now and I went to auto expo 2016 to just get a look at this naked bike. Ridden fz16 in the past I am no big fan of naked bikes primarily because of bad wind protection although I was very much impressed by its looks. Anyhow when I had my eyes on this piece of engineering I was taken aback. This bike looks marvellous and a lot chunky and big to naked eye. Believe me the photos/videos do not do any justification to this bike. Just try to give this bike a chance. Every bike is good in their own.
