Performance= power, refinement, handling, quality, longevity and hassle free ownership experience. Your definition of performance is more related to top speed and bhp figures I guess. Correct me if I am wrong...Originally posted by snoufaltariq View PostHow do you define performance bro?? If reliability is what you say I totally agree with you anways did you ride the fz25 [emoji7] how does it feel to ride the motorcyclesigpic
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith and use up a lot of fuel....

Completely agree with you.But my main point of argument here is price which is something important to make decisions for me.It's cheaper than a R15,Duke200,cbr150.Japanese are known for their refinement.I'm more of a KTM guy so i like hooliganism in my ride so the point is.If you take a Ducati it's very costly to manitain because you'll need new parts once in a while it's less reliable than a Japanese liter class motorcycles does it make it a bad bike.Bikes are not perfect in every way but in some aspects some scarifce has to be made for another strength. Please correct me if i am wrongOriginally posted by Naveen1985 View PostPerformance= power, refinement, handling, quality, longevity and hassle free ownership experience. Totally agree with you. If hooliganism is what you are looking for then I must say you are on right path and you have a prefect choice. I prefer refined, smooth and reliable machine over hooligans like duke.Originally posted by snoufaltariq View PostCompletely agree with you.But my main point of argument here is price which is something important to make decisions for me.It's cheaper than a R15,Duke200,cbr150.Japanese are known for their refinement.I'm more of a KTM guy so i like hooliganism in my ride so the point is.If you take a Ducati it's very costly to manitain because it's less reliable than a Japanese liter class motorcycle does it make it a bad bike.Bikes are not perfect in every way but in some aspects some scarifce had to be made for another strength. You have got it perfectly right.I want to add just one extra point ----fz25 has a fantastic ride quality too.Yamaha has tuned the shocks really well.Neither too soft nor too hard/stiff.Today rode on some broken road with a adult pillion and I+my friend riding pillion were amazed with the ride quality.Originally posted by satishg View PostFZ25 is straight forward practical machine with a conventional riding posture. With good low end and torque it will be a great machine with reasonable performance on highways. still waiting for a proper road test report !!Last edited by windsong; 03-01-2017, 09:29 PM.

I have Duke 390 currently, I have booked the FZ 25 already and will be getting it soon. The reason i booked the FZ was the refined engine, torque, smooth engine, pillion seat and small tweaks it has such as LED lights, LCD panel etc. I guess i had my fair time with the Duke's hooliganism which i enjoyed and now i definitely to need move on. FZ has that charm which Karizma had at a point in time with relaxed engine and smooth power delivery. I feel this one perfect with the 250cc that too coming from Yamaha.Leh,Ladakh & Lahaul Ride to Heaven & Back - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/tourer/1...aven-back.html

Re: Yamaha FZ 25 launched at RS 119500/-
I did a test ride of the bike for my colleague and came out impressed. I own a 2010 Fazer. Excellent torque for city commutes, good ergonomics / seating posture, nice exhaust note. The LED lights are adequately bright. The only things I didn't like was the Display Unit. Though its legible, the font, design could have been a bit more funkier (something like RTR200). It comes with a single horn and felt it to be weak compared to the Twin horn of my Fazer.
All in all, an excellent package for 1.4L. Personally, I would wait for R15 v3.

And in capable hands, I've seen the R15 outpace the NS 200, the RTR 200 as well and the Pulsar 220. A 150cc hitting a top whack of 140kmph is not to be scorned at too.
R15 can't catch-up with any of these bike on Street on a track it's a different story
Talking about capable hands any 150cc bikes can smokes 200cc or higher cc bikes on streetsLast edited by kany1991; 03-02-2017, 12:53 PM.
