    The same problem I'm facing in Chennai. There are no banners yet in the showroom for the FZ25. The representative told me they were supposed to get it by this week, but now it's again delayed by another week. Guess Yamaha is facing some production issues. I'm badly waiting to test ride the FZ25 before giving the final go to Dominar!

      Three weeks before itself "FZ25 bookings open" banners are displayed at some Yamaha showroom. I've booked white colour. The dealer confirmed bike will definitely arrive between Feb 20-23 and as a initial lot they'll get 15 bikes. 5 bikes in each colour. So please wait for couple of days or give Dominar a try-a VFM machine.

        Yamaha and Honda are enjoying scooter sales. Outside major cities, if someone is going to buy a motorcycle, it'll be a sub 150cc family bike.

        Only enthusiasts and people with disposable income will go for anything above quarter liter. And their count is very few compared to general people.

        So, let Yamaha management do their job, instead of scratching our head and rant.

          This is exactly many manufacturers are doing in India. Though Yamaha tried to bring R3 but it didnt give expected result due to obvious price factor. It might take some time for those manufacturers to bring their performance motorcycle when we Indian start to switch over to performance and safety oriented aspects.
          Till then scooties and splendors.Cant complaint .

            In lucknow city bike will be available at showroom by march 2nd week. On road price here is 1.47 lacs, seems on higher side looking after bhp/equipments of competitors in same segment.

              My only grouse is the absence of Abs.
              I really wished that the mandatory ABS law should have been active by now in our country.
              Nothing but strict government policies will put them in line.

                Still there is no Media preview or test rides near a month now from the launch, that is really strange.

                If there are production issue this will ultimately lead to increased waiting periods

                  Powerdrift commented on their one of the videos... that the media test ride will start from 1st week of march so till than hold ur horses & just wait for it.

                    Bike is about to reach some of the showrooms in mumbai within 3 or 4 days .

                        Never Expect for CBR

                        I was desperately waiting for NS200 ABS and Fi Version (Disappointed)
                        Was expecting FZ250 Would get ABS (Disappointed with Power and NO ABS too)

                        Now I don't know whether govt rule is passed for ABS mandatory thing or not.

                          There are numerous bajaj bikes with bs4 can be seen on the streets these days. Bajaj had launched their complete product lineup with bs4 and most of them are available for sale already(avenger, p220, dominar and etc). So the delay is not because of RTO.

                              As per yamaha facebook page deliveries of FZ25 will start after march 15 but still no reports on media rides...

                                Guys what could happen if Yamaha relaunches the r3 with the same perimeter frame as in the r15 along with usd forks? How much will be the price increase?
