That's a Good OTR deal, so it should be Rs.3000-4000 lesser in Chennai.

I guess the extra pricing for Blue is due to it being metallic, not sure though.

More Eagerly Waiting for the test-rides and reviews now...

    Cheers!

I'll check the price at Perfect Riders as well, maybe this weekend. Not sure why the Blue one has a higher price.

The ex-showroom price varies considering logistics I believe. Bikewale is showing ex-showroom price of 1.25 for Mumbai.

This is the price list as per Perfect Riders, they mention only 1.44 lakhs and no mention of colours.

Metallic vs Non Metallic paints (Metallic costs more). Common practice among manufacturers.

In FZS and Fazer, Military green colour ex showroom price costs higher than other variants but for fz25 there is no such thing given in website. kindly double check the information with other dealers.

Yes, that's a given - re-verify data from alternate sources (other dealers, CSR etc) if possible.

Perfect riders Bengaluru have confirmed that the bikes will be available in the showroom by this weekend. As a first slot they are getting 15 bikes and all the 15 bikes are booked as of now.

I am a bit surprised that despite the launch happening on 24th January

                        # Nor dealers have got bikes, not even TD bikes
                        # No media rides yet.

                        What is cooking from Yamaha?

I had a CBR 250R which I sold to get the D-390, but it would be a bit too extreme for everyday use [majority being commuting] hence, I am considering this, but no clue of its whereabouts yet. Heck, no proper pictures of it as well out in the open.

Exactly. I am not going to wait for it, anyway I have now decided to go for Dominar. Probably, will be booking it this weekend.

Yamaha India i feel is not interested in sales of vehicles above 150cc. The R3 is nowhere to be seen. The Fz25 launch has been unexciting at best and the dealers have no clue what is going on.. while every other manufacturer is trying or has atleast tried to cash in on the middle weight segment Yamaha is not even concerned.. Future doesnt look so good for Yamaha imho.

Inquired about the R3 ina few showrooms about the recalls and issues and they had no clue if such a recall had been issued. Asked about the FZ25 and they said they dont know when the bike will arrive or test rides would be given.
