    Thanks for the concern. Yes, I got that fixed by the dealership itself although it was a very straight forward 2 minute job. I'll do it myself from the next time. In the meantime, I've ordered a puncture kit & pressure gauge for myself that I'll take with me on all trips. I'm waiting for my 12V adapter to be fitted, once that's done I'll also carry a compact air pump.

        This was my first long ride on any bike. Started at 6:15am in the morning from Koramangala and returned by 7:10pm. While returning, traffic around Yashwanthpur was really bad.

              I never really used my old bike for anything other than city commuting just because it wasn't exciting enough. After I got this one, I've just started to do rides. Also, stock tyres won't last long if you want to do a lot of touring.

              Why don't you consider triumph's own tire pressure monitoring system?

              There are some other third party solution that gives pressure values in our phone via bluetooth etc. Read somewhere so.


              Thread will get more interesting as you start adding stuff to the ride

              Sad part is they are not selling street triple R here.

              That was a lit more value for little bit extra. But they any way have little competition here in India

                Foot-pegs are pretty high. Well, I can't really answer that as I never sat as a pillion. I went to see-off a friend at Airport once and on a 1 hour ride, he said it was ok, just like any other non-cruiser bike.

                Yes, we stopped 4-5 times during the trip and each was not less than 20 minutes. Break for breakfast/lunch/supper was even more. Point was to enjoy the bike, not how fast I can do it .
                I plan to get TPMS and other good stuff but unfortunately parts are not readily available. Even the first set of accessories I ordered are yet to be fitted.


                Even I was disappointed when I came to know that they won't be selling the 'R' here but I guess it's fine as it's seat height was a good 1 inch taller than this. (I'm 5'7").

                Btw, I saw you've one of your locations as Cochin. I plan to do a ride to Cochin on 22nd March and for next 8 days to nearby locations (200km radius).

                          Feels good to know that you are doing great with the small dragonfly.

                          As the very first Triumph poster on the forum, could you take on an added task? That is, to motivate a Bonneville owner near you to post an exhaustive review of the bike here. It would really help those like me who are torn between heart (the TB) and mind (the K650R).

                          Please do take this as a special request from me. I know of some other brother officers who want some additional inputs on the TB esp with regard to pillion comfort before taking the plunge.

                            I'm going for my very first group ride with other Triumph owners tomorrow morning. I'll surely request some guy with a Bonnie to post a review here.

                            My 2 paisa, just after listening to a revving bonnie, I'm sure you'll drop your plans for getting a K650R or a TB. That thing sounds sweet in real life.

                              Oops, sorry, my mistake. In my lexicon, the TB is the Triumph Bonneville and NOT the RE TB.

                              I have heard some Bonnie clips online and the ones with the Arrows exhaust are divine.

                              And yes, do motivate some old fogey Bonnie aspirants/owners like me to pen down their thoughts here - they can't do it at home in front of the wife so might as well do it here

                                Oh, I misinterpreted. In your original post, you clearly meant Bonnie by TB, sorry for that.

                                K650R and TB are very different bikes in terms of style. Why are you confused b/w the two? Why do you think K650R will be a wise choice?
